MyBB is one of the largest open-source forum softwares out today and is growing every day. This guide is aimed to help assist you install MyBB to your website.
First, we'll need to grab the latest package from MyBB(as of this posting, it's 1.6.7). Click the 'Download Now' button located on the homepage and that will start us off to installing MyBB for our new board.
Starting The Install
I'm going to assume your familiar with using FTP and cPanel to get the files to your server, so I will skip that part for purposes of this tutorial.
Navigate to the URL were you placed the folders inside the downloaded .zip file. You will be presented with a MyBB error telling you the board is not installed. Add /install to the end of your URL to begin the install process.
You will find a screen looking like this:
Click 'Next' and this will start the install. On the following screen, the MyBB license will be shown and you may click next after that.
