Fresh content will help you in many ways on your site. It will draw more visitors to your site, or bring back repeat visitors. And if you add fresh content to your page, your guests will feel like you know your subject matter. How can you constantly be adding fresh content to your page without having to babysit your page 24/7? Here are some great ideas that will make your page flourish with new material.

Blogs

Add a blog to your website. This will attract visitors because many people love blogs. And they are easy to update as well. Give your visitors the chance to subscribe to your RSS feed as well.
And if you have a blog, you can let your guest comment. This is a great way to update material. Just make sure you monitor the comments for spam.

Links

Consider adding links on your page that are related to your subject matter. Just make sure that the content you added the links to is of high quality and is relevant to your page.

Forums

Forums are an excellent idea for generating fresh content. Much discussion is done in forums, however, a forum does require lots of work. It will most likely need to be monitored more closely than any other option in this article for spam.

Reviews

Reviews are an excellent way to add fresh content to your site. As always, make sure the review is relevant to your site. The reviews can be about products or books related to your subject. Another option would be to add other website reviews on your site.

Q&A

Many times this option is overlooked, but a question and answer section could greatly benefit your site. Your visitors can ask questions and they can then be answered by yourself or others.

Articles

Articles on your subject matter are a great way to add fresh content. Adding a few new articles every month can make your site soar. Add articles that are well written. If you do not have time to write articles yourself, you could have others write them for you. Consider finding someone who knows a lot about your subject matter. Or you may find a visitor on your site that is interested in writing for you. Options for this are all over the place. It is not recommended that you use a free article that you find on the internet though. One can never be sure if this material has been used before and if it has, you may be penalized.

Social Sites

Social sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, are a great way to update your content. All you have to do is add your Facebook or Twitter feed to the site.

There are many ways you can add new material to your site to keep it fresh and exciting. Some will require more work than others, but it is well worth it to know that you will constantly have fresh content on your pages.

  1. Forums in your niche are a great way to get some fresh content . I also check Google Analytics and see what search terms people use to get to my site. Some of them find my posts through Google but the post does not always answer their question so I usually write a post to help answer their specific question.
