Bump your Services!

Posted on January 27th, 2012. Written by Jordan.

Being on the first page of SEOClerks or in the top 20 listing of a category is important. The homepage is the most common entry point for SEOClerks and the method most often used to filter and sort services is via category (which is why you should place your new services in the correct categories). Previously, there was no method to get back to the front page if you were bumped off other than creating a new service or getting featured… until now.

As requested in the FAQ section, you can now bump your services back to the first page.

How you ask?

Simple, just edit your service and make any update to it. If your service has not been bumped for 7 days, it will automatically be bumped back to the front page giving you a greater opportunity to makes sales. The 7 day limit is to keep users from dominating the front page by updating their service every couple of seconds (points finger at ZennoPoster and uBot owners).

Like the idea? Make a comment here. Don’t like the idea? erm, well, go sell some fruit.

BTW – The user who suggested this change received $10 in their account for any purchase via balance on SEOClerks. Got a good idea? Suggest it and you may get some cash too.

  1. This is a great idea! And I love the new method of bumping gigs. I’ve just bump one from mistake, I wanted to edit something and I found myself on the first page right after that. Good job!

  2. Excellent Idea. Now its my turn to dominate the first page :)

  3. I love this idea mate , superb! :)

  4. Cool, that’s a wicked idea, Jordan…but there is still a decent margin selling fruit….just saying :)

  5. Excellent feature giving everyone a fair shot

  6. Thank you for sharing this! This is exactly what micro sites like Fiverr are lacking when they give search preference to d-bags creating new gigs with brand new accounts who have ZERO rep over people like myself with almost 1000+ gigs sold, this is truly amazing!
