Yes. i agree. Although no follow links can't help much in SEOs perspective, it will definitely help people get to see you site, thus a traffic still.
Yes... nofollows almost certainly DO HELP your site. Don't believe what every guru or SEO 'specialist' tells you. Plus it doesn't look natural if your site has all dofollow links
Check out this study/article and slideshow from SEOMoz:

there's no harm in having no follow links, but they won't help you rank. there was a case study in here a while ago that more or less proved that.
I guess you can think of them as a king of insurance if you like though - it can't hurt to have some in your profile.
Google does not count the nofollow in the sense that it does not count that link for assigning the weightage of that pagerank to your site pagerank. But nofollow links still consider as the traffic to the site.
From SEO point of view you won't get any link juice from nofollow links. But nofollow links will make your website look more natural, therefor Google will rank it better (if you have dofollow and nofollow, rather then having only dofollow).
No follow links doesn't count so much but instead of nothing they ar good
No follow links doesn't help you to increase your ranking in search engine but they can be valuable in bringing good traffic to your site..
they always help you to get some traffic so must use it in ratio of 80:20 so that it will also bring back some traffic and will not Leave footprint as well if your 80% are Dofollow and 20% are no follow.
