Sometimes, I'm finding that it's easy to get wrapped up in trivia over Facebook; checking friends wall posts; playing casual games; looking for funny LOL pics when i should be posting to my Facebook fan page and replying to my Facebook fans. So for me, the social aspect of Facebook is becoming more of a distraction. Though I'm sure there are many ways to post to Facebook without actually visiting the site, there's no good way to stay up with fans by staying off Facebook. Are you finding Facebook social aspects to be a distraction? Or, have you learned how to manage the social distractions there to stay focused on your internet marketing efforts so you can continue to earn money?
I think so. It is like email alerts and instant messengers. You see them and instantly lose focus on what you were doing.
And, if your job is online such as is the situation with many freelancers and writers, then you can lose money getting sidetracked with the social side of Facebook.
