Selling… the true purpose of copy
Don Draper, David Ogilvy, Hunter S Thompson… all amazing story tellers, although some better than others, are just a few of the people who've wrestled with the mechanics of writing the perfect copy, the perfect order of words that will persuade and convert readers. It's a powerful feeling, having that control over the reader, the potential customer or true fan, and as I sit here writing this little description hunched over my laptop lighting another cigarette getting well into the pack as the night passes, you might discover, if you're still reading that is, then I've just lured you in with this precise order of words. Now you've invested your time into reading this description, and there are just a few more sentences left, a minute or two of reading at the most why stop now, you've already started why not finish it, I promise it will be worth it… And this is just what copy is and why it sells.
OK, now I know what copy is, now what?
