SEOClerks Needs A More Precise FAQ Page!

Ok, so I just joined SC and trying to find a clear explanation of the rules is like chasing a chicken down the highway in the middle of the night. You know there may be danger ahead, but no clear idea of what will happen.

I read about how you should work hard to not get infractions, but can't find of list of them anywhere. How can you follow the rules when you don't know what they are?

The TOS page is quite generic and isn't specific enough about what you can and cannot do here with your account. The FAQ is a muddy mess full of questions members posted originally to level up and doesn't really give a precise FAQ about SEOClerks itself. There are 1000's of lovely spam posts there, but NONE of my own questions about accounts came up in search.

For example, when are links allowed in orders? I read on the forum of someone getting an infraction for posting a link to his website that he wanted the seller to work on. How on earth are you supposed to give someone a url if you can't post it?? I mean, SEOclerks IS a website that offers services FOR other websites, right? So, how do you let the person know your site address??

I also couldn't find anything about creating 2 seperate accounts. I understand why duplicate accounts wouldn't be allowed for trying to dominate for one service, but my gf wants to create an account to sell her writing services, whereas I sell only traffic, so we aren't trying to join forces to wreak havoc...she just wants to do her own thing, under her own name and her own Paypal account. Doable, yes or no?

Having one CLEAR page listing common rules about links, accounts, infractions, etc would make it far easier and, I must say, lessen the load on your help desk.

Thank you for your time,

Asmo

Hello Asmodeus,

First of all, thanks for joining the Clerks Nation.

I understand your frustration. The first topic I will address is about what is a violation of the rules that may cause you to get an infraction. I am working on creating some clear cut rules that users are expected to follow. We rarely give infractions but when we do it is typically for users being unprofessional, copying services or graphics, not delivering on time, or delivering a service without completing the work. We ban accounts for any type of fraudulent behavior.

Reference to creating duplicate accounts; you are correct. We don't allow users to have linked accounts. Of course, in your situation with your gf we would understand and in that situation, would not be a problem. We have many other users that may work in teams or with family members that have linked accounts and that isn't an issue.

Thanks for your feedback because we are constantly trying to make improvements to our platform.
