Poor Service

I have had to cancel a lot of orders recently with numerous sellers due to them NOT delivering my orders on time. They also give you no communication. An example- my customer asks for a job- they pay me- I tell them it will be ready in 10 days. I then order from SEO CLERKS explain that the order cannot be late and pay, I also pick someone who delivers in 5 days so if there is a problem it should not effect my customer.


Well on a least 10 occasions I have heard nothing! Day 5,6,7, gone. By now its to late for me to get someone else to do it.

I have to refine my customer and I get bad feedback on my website- Its not my fault!

If a gig is cancelled on here mutually you cannot leave negative feedback?
If I leave comments on there gig they just delete it.

SEO CLERKS needs to implement a system where if you get so many complaints you get banned.

A system like that could and would surely get abused. The current system in place works fine. Why should you be able to leave feedback for a service that you did not use? I understand that you ordered a service, but if you were refunded(a mutual cancellation) you give up the right to leave feedback. You can't review a service you've never tried.

I agree that if a ban happened when you reach a certain amount of bad reviews / bad feedback it would get abused.

Also, What type of service is it that you are re-selling? Poor Service

I'm 95% sure that it's social media services for 1-5$. They lost value in my opinion because of tons of self-proclaimed experts, consultants and what not with same low quality bots.

I agree with the posts above, if there was a feature like that it would defiantly get abused and hard working users would be banned because of it.

I understand how you feel. I've been in the same situation several times but it's a risk you'll have to take.
It's quite simple actually: If a seller can't deliver they won't get paid. If a buyer don't get the service they pay for they won't loose their money. There's no reason for leaving feedbacks on services you haven't paid for which is why you can't do that. You'll never be ale to do that.

The only advice I can give you, that really matters is:
Make sure that you have a "list" of providers who can provide the specific service you need. (In case some of them mess up.)

You also said : "Its not my fault!" and well.. That's not quite right. You buy peoples services and sell them as your own. (Which is your own choice.) The reason for doing that could be:

1. You don't know how to do it.
2. You can't do it yourself.
3. Your doing things in a way to avoid "the hard work" yourself.

As long as you're a reseller you'll still have to "take the hits" as if it's your own fault. That's just how it is.

I'd never contact Bill Gates directly and blaim him personally for some bugs in Windows.. Would you?
I'd never contact some reseller and blaim them for the bugs either but I'd ask for a refund. That's what people are doing when they place their orders. They think of you as the provider, the expert, the genius who'll provide them with whatever they want.. If you mess that up, you'll have to take the hits.. (which most likely means, the refunds and/or the negative feedbacks.)

However, sellers who can't even communicate and tell their clients they're having problems, are being late with the deliveries or whatever, they shouldn't be in this kind of business at all. At least that's my own opinion (since we're all humans, things could go wrong in life too, so you can't just report all sellers who can't deliver in time. Use your heads). Send a ticket to the support and explain your situation. Give them details about how, when, why and who so someone can do something about it. They might be able to disable the sellers service or whatever. Implement such a feature as you suggested above is not the solution. That kind of feature will be abused by hundreds of people. Especially competitors of certain services. It's bad enough with a couple of sneaky rats once in a while who's placing orders just to leave negative ratings. (Too hurt their competitors)


With all this being said, I still understand your feelings. I've been there multiple times myself and I'll probably be facing the same thing shortly again.. Life is life and this business is after all... Business.

Yep I agree. My point is COMMUNICATION- if a seller cannot finish a job TELL ME! if its going to be late TELL ME!
Its simple and good business sense. Why should I wait and be told the day before its due they cannot do it or even worse just ignore the emails I have sent. Yes they dont get paid and I get refunded but I should be able to let future customers they dont deliver on time or answer emails- thats how it should work!

I do not agree with banning someone for bad reviews. Some people just are very hard to please and therefore give lots of bad reviews.

That is just a chance you take when you are reselling. If you want a job done right then you need to do it yourself.

I'm a buyer and didn't sell anything here before. I thought of saving myself 1 hour yesterday because I'm not good in design. So I created a WTB for a very simple change fonts and add logo to a banner. I give info of color code, logo and wording. I'm just lazy to spend an hour to figure out an image software. I think, well $3 and save my time. I order the first bidder and send him all the required files. The moment I paid, he is un-contactable till now. I have send him a message at 20 hours later and he was online but didn't reply. I have cancelled the order and spend another $3 to order another seller. Hope he can deliver soon.

Some may think that I'm a cheapskate for $3 but it was really a 10 mins job for a photoshop guy. I have spend well more than $300 within this 2 months in seoclerks. Some provide really surprising standard and I'm still using it almost every day. But really to be honest, some are just... I don't know if they should be here.

I understand the try and error stage and I keep my good sellers close. So why am I posting this? Because the banner is a job I'm been arrowed in the company I'm working for. This "secureseller " landed me in deep sh*t! Does this make me a reseller?

*angie828, $4 for 25 posts? can share some of your work? might need your service in 2 weeks time. Btw, you are right to say that entrusting important task here is chance taking. It's a Sat and I'm taking another chance. Please pray that the new seller can deliver this time round.

I go with hitmasap. that feature will be misused and abused by lots of buyers., even competitors will take advantage of it to discredit your service so that they can get all the buyers to themselves.
