Do you pay for traffic?

If you pay for traffic, what is the cost per visitor? And, how much do you pay per visitor?

I don't like paying money for so called traffic when that traffic might not even be targeted to my site niche or might not want to read what I have to say.

its you that will set the cpc on your advertisers panel.
if you are going to pay for traffic, make sure you optimize the targeting options from geolocation, niches, devices and etc to make it work.

You can use Facebook ads to get traffic, that is one form of paid traffic. Google Adwords is another form of paid traffic. And, this traffic is very real, from people that saw your ad on a site and clicked on it to visit your page or site. That traffic will likely result in a sale or transaction.

I use paid marketing methods like solo ads in my business. I don't see how knowing my cost per visitor helps you.

You have to go and test various methods out there. I suggest you stick with one method until it works (or until you get fed up trying to make it work;)) before you add in other paid methods. Too many people try to do too many things at one time resulting in them having less than stellar results and an emptier bank account.

I will say that solo ads, Facebook Ads, and YouTube ads work as long as your'e willing to learn the ropes and test.

Value of traffic depends on your niche and where you get this....

Nope. I don't pay. I like natural traffic which are valuable. Paid traffic may not be valuable.

Yes, it should be this way. Paying for traffic is something not a good idea. Well, you can opt for adwords in case if thinking to pay.

I have tried traffic exchange, PTC as well as traffic service. I had to pay to use these services. I used these paid traffic methods to find out what exactly is paid traffic and how it helps my site. I found out that paid traffic is just a number, it does not do any good to your site. I was lucky that I was not caught by Google. paid traffic does not work.

I have friends who pay for traffic to their site because they have no time to work on it. Sometimes I suggest that they do SEO methods so they can get more traffic but they are comfortable in paying for the traffic because it is more convenient. However, I don’t think that they are getting their money’s worth. Perhaps that is just a friendly concern based on the numbers that are low and the payment that is high.

I don't pay for fake traffic because it's just a waste of money. If a site has no traffic then the site owner is not doing his job or he might not be interested in his own site.
