    What are your rules of off page optimization?

    When backlinking, I always follow these rules for off page optimization: get high quality backlinks from authoritative sites. Vary up your anchor text so that it's not always the same. And, don't too many backlinks at once or it looks suspicious. Offer your own rules for off page optimization or techniques that always work for you.

    Only link building is main rules of the off page method and it should be quality links.

    High quality writing is not just for on page optimization and can be used in off page SEO too. If you are backlinking from other blogs (in your linkwheel), you should still take time to publish high quality posts. And, that goes for blog comments too. That way the pages linking to your site are seen as credible and high quality and not spammy. That's an important element in off page optimization too.

    For off-page optimization, backlinking is not the only SEO strategy. Backlinking is, of course, the main SEO strategy, but there are other ways too. For instance, social signals are also very important off-page SEO techniques. Social signals help your website a good positioning in SERP.

    The backlinks from very popular sites and also the social signals in the social media network are the most common off-page optimization because they are simple procedures that we don’t need to learn complicated methods. No analysis or evaluation required. Just promote your site by posting comments on blogs, forums and other sites then you have your backlinks on those sites. That also applies to social media posting because your posts there are considered backlinks too.
