    Many people have their own facebook pages for their site, where they get a few facebook followers here and there, but something I recently tried, and it's my own little secret is advertising on facebook groups. This is something if you do correctly can lead to a bright future for your website.

    You cannot simply advertise like a normal promotion site however, this is something you have to join a group in the exact niche your site is in, and make an introduction/thank you post telling them thank you, and how you own a site in the niche which is why you are joining to gather more information on the topic, or anything around those lines.

    This is something I've found that little to no people are doing, and decided to share it with the people of SEOClerks. Has anyone done this before, if so, was it successful for you? If you have not done this, does it sound like something interesting to try out?

    At this time there are large number of people using the Facebook for the advertisement. For the Facebook advertisement i think Facebook group play very important role. in facebook group you can connected with the many people and easily generate the sales of your product.

    The main benefit you would get is relevancy, you can promote a website in any niche as you are able to find the group which is in any particular niche, and the traffic you would get would convert good.

    So long as you are transparent about your intentions for joining the group and contribute to conversation, then it probably won't be perceived as spam once your link actually goes up. Besides, people will most likely just click through to your Facebook profile or Facebook page and from there find your website or blog link.

    I am on numerous facebook groups where there are hundreds of followers. I also administer a facebook group. I use facebook groups to promote my contents. Since facebook has a great reach, I use facebook more than other social media. I also have half dozen facebook pages. I have separate page for my different websites. facebook page is also a good way to promote your products and services. I am only on those facebook groups where I can connect with like minded people. I don't join a group that does not concern me.

    Facebook groups give you the chance to interact well with users that have the same aim of joining that particular group. I mean it is a secluded part of Facebook on which with the same interest meets to talk about things that matter to them. A marketer can also open a group and add people that can participate in discussions as well as purchase the products/services he /she sells.

    I have plans of creating my own blog and I for sure I will use the Facebook group feature for promoting my blogs. However, what’s on my mind is not a direct target for my blog which is a pet blog. The Facebook group in my mind may be for civic-minded people against cruelty to animals or the butchering of non-traditional animals for food. The theme of the Facebook group is related but different to my niche. I’m not sure if I can handle it well but it’s worth trying.
