    Why would you ever want to delete a Twitter account?

    I can't think of any reasons to delete a Twitter account, unless you never used it anymore. And, even then it might automatically be deactivated after six months of non-use. What could be some good reasons for deactivating your account?

    Maybe your Twitter account was associated with your personal life, such as a former relationship and you no longer want to be associated with that. If you don't have many followers on Twitter, you could delete that account and create a new one. I don't know if there is a way to keep a specific user from following you.
