How do you care for your health as a freelancer?

Some days, I am extremely tired and exhausted from working very long hours with my freelance work. Those days it does not feel as if it's worth it to work as a freelancer anymore. I don't think that I'm taking care of my health very well. Please give me tips on how to take better care of my health so that I can work better and earn more money.

Don't forget to make time for yourself to eat meals and get some rest. You might feel obligated to finish your work but you will only run your body down if you work all the time.

We must take good care of our bodies. Everyone should do this. Even if you are just a simple person, you should take good care of your health. How much more the freelancers need to take care well of their bodies?

Hydrate well. If you don't drink enough water you will always feel tired. Dehydration can be very bad for your health and cause many health problems, even kidney issues.

Delegate some of your work to a helper or staff member. There's no saying you have to do all your freelance work for yourself. Being able to delegate is the sign of a smart leader.

Outsourcing is always a good idea, especially if you can find a reliable worker to take care of some smaller details of your work day.

Some things can't be outsourced, especially if those jobs depend on customer service and job quality.

However, simple things like checking emails and writing thank you notes can be delegated to a worker.

I just try not to get sick as it costs so much money to go to the doctor anymore. I am a health fanatic though and always eat good so I'm rarely sick. That's one point in the plus column. How do you care for your health as a freelancer?

Take a day off at least once a week to do nothing but lounge around and care for yourself. This will help you recoup from your strenuous work week so you can work even harder in the week upcoming.

Eat well, get plenty of sleep and take breaks. I also stretch during working. I also allow myself breaks from time to time.

Eat lots of fruit and stay hydrated, get at least 8 hours of sleep a night and always exercise no matter how I feel.

I make sure to take the best care of myself. If I do not then I will not be able to perform my jobs at all and that will greatly effect my freelancing.

I work from home, normally I sit at my computer for 10 hours. However, as a freelancer working from home, I am not inside the home for 24 hours. I live on a farm and every morning and afternoon, I work on my farm. farm work gives me enough dose of exercise. I don't snack when I am working, this helps me avoid junk food.

Freelancing is my part time job and sometimes I cannot help to feel exhausted by the work in the office that I couldn’t do my freelancing. But now that my work schedule in the office has stabilized, I now can have more time for my freelancing. When I don’t feel good, I don’t work whether in the office or in my freelancing. I had to take the day off to give myself time to recover from physical and mental exhaustion.

Health is first in my book. I would never sacrifice my health in doing freelance work. I always make it a point to eat right and exercise daily. Although I really don't get a lot of sleep but it's been that way since I was a teen so I think it's just the way my body works.
