Is Creating A Website For My Services Worth It?

I use various offsite techniques to promote my services like uploading videos and using the social media. These methods are really effective but I want to take it further to create something like a hosted portfolio or sales pages that directs to my services.

I know it is good to have a portfolio to display my work but is it really worth it?
What is the best way to create such websites?

It is a good idea to create a website because it will help to showcase your various services, and also act as yet another online advert of what you specialize in. There is nothing to lose of course as you can create a website quite easily and rather quickly using WordPress for example, and you won't have to pay anything either. Having a website also helps you to look more professional. It is always nice to add that website link rather than just an email address. So I would say go for it - you can only gain from it after all.

It's definitely worth it Is Creating A Website For My Services Worth It?

You'll be able to target many more people because you can target specific keywords that your freelancer services can't. I've pulled people in from obscure keywords that I was targeting using a sub page with optimized content, and then turned them into a client Is Creating A Website For My Services Worth It?

I've been a freelancer and owned my own company since 2003 and I love both aspects. Being a freelancer can get you one time projects or you can refer them to your company website and get them on a monthly plan that charges a bit more Is Creating A Website For My Services Worth It? I charge at least $500 a month to all of my clients who want SEO or Online Marketing and I get them to sign up pretty easily since my website is basically a sales pitch and shows them why they should sign up ;) I also get a lot of referrals because I do what I say I will, I get them ranked and bring in the traffic that turns into sales and they're happy enough to tell their friends about us Is Creating A Website For My Services Worth It? If I didn't have my own website for my company then they would have to refer people to a social profile or freelancer profile and I could potentially lose my sign ups that way.

I actually started off with a business website and sold my own services, so other people may have a different idea as to why they would suggest not to set up a dedicated website. But what's to risk? A few dollars? You can get a premium theme for wordpress for $50 to $60 and buy a domain and privacy for $20 to $25 on the high end and hosting will cost you $3 to $15 a month. So the total investment would be at the most $100 and then $3 to $15 a month after that. Not bad if you can close just one client through your website, right?

Oh yes I think a website would be an excellent idea.

You don't have to just rely on income from this website, you could also get business from other sources too. I like seeing that someone has their own website, it makes them more professional in my eyes. Plus you will appear more genuine.

Your would be able to do so much more!

HI kennchronic thanks for your nice question. Yes! creating a website for your services very good decision and there nothing to lose. So, I suggest to you go for it immediately and without any doubt.. And you know more exposure means more customer will attract to your service or portfolio and you will get more sale. So, it should be worth for you for getting more sale. And I think you read anwebservice comments and he recovered very good answer by several instructions. And I should say WordPress should be better one and you can customize it more easily.

A personal website or blog can definitely be worth it. As you're already promoting your services on social medias etc, you could promote your website or blog in the same way. It's also often easier and more "acceptable" on several Facebook groups and internet marketing forums to promote your personal blog or website rather than services or products directly, as they often intend to see the latter as spam.

I can see that you offer logo designs and nothing beats a stylish and nice portfolio with amazing graphics. That's indeed the best way to promote these kind of services. To make your creations visible for potential clients.

Well it is worth it, because you are showing your determination to be a successful business. It's also more trustworthy if you have a website to showcase your services, and/or skills. I have a demo site for my PHP scripts, and this enables future potential buyers a look at how the script functions.

If I never would of created that demo site, I'm sure not many people would even care to buy my PHP scripts. I truly believe that if you have a website that showcases your services, or whatever else you're doing then you may have more success. I'm also going to create landing pages for all of my services, this would be beneficial for organic search customers and it would bring me sales here!

I think it is worth it if you are able to create a very good website and drive lots of traffic to it. It is worth it if it can increase your profits but this will be tough because you need a website totally dedicated to your services. However, you can create a personal website to promote your services at SEO Clerks and once you build a brand and reputation outside SEO Clerks, you can bring traffic to your services here. We discussed about having a personal website as a freelancer before that you may want to check out.

Creating your website is worth it as long as you can make returns from using that website to market your products and services. Also, when you must have created it, try and market it on the internet space maybe through guest blogging on popular blogs and all that. I wish you well on that.
