How to get more people on the Community Discussion area?

Lately I've seeing an increased amount of activity on the CD and not just by CD mods but but the sites users as well which is great! But I wanted to ask what are some other ways to get more people onto the Community Discussion area?
How to get more people on the Community Discussion area?
I've come up with some suggestions for it.

  • Tell people about it!
Whenever you deliver an order to one of your clients. Mention about the SEOClerks Community Discussion area and that you are there and that it's a great place to be to find out about anything you want to know about. If you're selling article writing services, tell them they can get article writing tips. If you're selling social media services, tell them they can found out all about social media etc. You get the point! This will encourage more people (your buyers) to visit and engage and take part in the Community Discussion.
  • Advertise it else where.
If you're active on any forums that are related to any of the categories in the Community Discussion area. Tell people about it on those forums with a simple post or in your signature area. You could do it from an angle of no other reason than wanting to share an invaluable source of information by experts rather than them thinking you're just trying to sell them something. This could be a very good way of getting a lot more people on and using the CD!
  • Write about it on your own site
If you own a blog in any niche on any of the CD categories, you could write about the CD and let your readers know. Telling them that it's an excellent place to learn about all sorts of things on whatever your niche blog is. And tell them that they will find experts there sharing their knowledge and that it can be used to ask questions and get answers on the things they care about.

Okay that's my 3 suggestions for getting more people to the FAQ. All of which I am going to be doing more of. Every time I deliver an order. And on most of the forums where it can be done and on my own blogs as well.

What are some other suggestions for getting more people on the SEOClerks CD? How to get more people on the Community Discussion area?

I am going to be writing about SEO Clerks on my website soon and I will certainly be sharing about the Community Discussion area too.

I find it a great place to ask questions when I am unsure about something and it would be an amazing place for my readers to come to since most of them are newbies to online marketing. So yes as soon as I get the time I will be writing a really cool article.

I am busy planning a trip with my kids but once school holidays are over I will be getting onto it!

You could also add your affiliate link, which can be picked up here: https://www.seoclerks.com/balance/affiliate

Thanks Everett! Yes I will be doing that. Maybe I am dumb but I like the way some affiliate companies do their affiliate links, like Amazon and Wealthy Affiliate University.... when you are logged in you can access your unique affiliate link for any page on the website easily without having to do it yourself.

That appeals to me as a lazy bones!

A great way to build this up is to offer sellers an extra 1% of the price to advertise the community discussion in the buyer dashboard. You know when someone buys then goes to add info to the order so the seller can fulfill everything? There! It will stick at the top of the conversation and always be there throughout the process. This will increase the clicks to the community discussion and likely bring in a flood of registered users to start adding their info and suggestions How to get more people on the Community Discussion area?

You actually don't have to offer the users an extra 1% since the seller already made the sale. Having a link in all of the conversations like "Need to know something? CLICK HERE for the community discussions" That way people will enter their information and then click through to see what is going on here How to get more people on the Community Discussion area?

Hell, after the buyer enters their job information they could be redirected to the community discussions section and that would increase traffic How to get more people on the Community Discussion area? It may lower sales though How to get more people on the Community Discussion area? Maybe give people the option of going to the community discussion or to shop more after they enter their job info. That would probably work best since people usually buy more than one service How to get more people on the Community Discussion area?

Great suggestions Mike!

I have another one for you:
How to get more people on the Community Discussion area?

This could be changed (when this promo had ended) to something like:
"Need assistance in any way? Do you want some answers? - Check out SEOClerks Community Discussions!"

That way people won't be able to miss it.

Another thing would be to change (or just add text about the community discussion) the header for people who's not logged in. That should be a good way to increase traffic on the community discussion.

Besides that, I truly think the thing about having a text in the delivery messages would do wonders. Like already suggested by Razzy. It should also be extremely easy to implement something like that and in case it works, it would be awesome. In case it doesn't, then no harm is done.

Best Regards,

I think that is a great idea. Most probably many members have no idea about community discussions and that is a pity. Putting such a message over there would surely encourage more members to check it out and make good use of it.

I also agree that we sellers could do our part by mentioning it when sending an order or when we are talking with prospective buyers in a message. The more we use word of mouth advertising at this, and the more each and every one of us does it, the more popular community discussions can get over time.

Word of mouth is the absolute best advertising especially if it is coming from a trusted friend or family member. However, do sellers actually need to inform their own clients about the Community Discussions? I mean, yes it's helpful but is it a bit too much or no? Your thoughts?

We could do it in a sort of friendly way - you know just to let them know that there is this section which was launched recently. I feel that most of my buyers just log in, place an order, and that's it. They are not making good use of all that seoclerks can offer. Chances are if they got to know of this part of the site they may be more active, and it could also increase their interest in other services which they may never have considered before. There is nothing wrong with some subtle advertising I guess.

Good suggestions Mike!
Ina addition to this:
Advertise it else where.

I wish to let other members know that you can use your affiliate link to advertise community discussions topics anywhere like you do for services on sale, so it just brings you more chances to make some affiliates and affiliate income as well while you promoting CD ;)

Hi Mike thanks for your nice suggestions. Community discussion becoming more live and active day by day and our expectation more high and we expect more user will join here and discuss several mater related categories basis. But, still I missing lot of user who was very active on forum and they regularly posted. My thinking how we motivate them to join here on new CD? And can do one thing like send them PM for offering to join here on CD. Moreover, I do promote all CD discussion on my Facebook group and I offer to know more about to visit here. It may work both ways offer to join on CD and insert affiliate code on read more url as well.

There is a saying that you can lead the horse to the water but you cannot force it to drink. The boards are there and the members are online but they don’t post. Why so? One reason is that they cannot find a discussion that is relevant to them or something that is interesting that will be worth their time to share. That’s where the off topic comes in. The off topic board is a respite from the serious discussions that some members will have the freedom to write what they can. Take note that not all members of the community are well versed with the niche. Some are just onlookers and some are learners. The off topic discussion can inspire them to join and write what they can share.
