Buying bumps is really worth it?

Is it really worth the money to buy bumps nowadays? I know that it automatically rebumps after certain number of hours, but will it be worth in terms of sales? What's your experience with that?

Hello sanfora,
That's actually impossible to answer.. Let me give you some advice.

Use one of your free bumps on any service you have. Take notes of the current amount of views you get and also count how many sales you get for using that one bump. The next day, use another free bump on that same service, but use it at another time. Do the same thing again. Count the sales and the views. On the third day, you'll do the exact same things again. Use a free bump. Count.

By doing this, you'll be able to roughly understand when your service are being bought but also at what time most people are looking at it.

When you've done all that, then purchase bumps. The re-bump is awesome as long as you can figure out the best time to bump the service to begin with.

Best Regards,
hitmeasap

Purchasing bumps would definitely help you out, you just have to use them at the right times like hitmeasap said.

I've noticed that my company gets more sales during the week at the beginning of each day. I do get random spikes here and there, but the main and consistent sales come from Monday through Friday. I see a decrease in sales on the weekends because people take time off to regroup, be with their families, go on vacation, etc. So this is understandable since we all need some time to ourselves. Now you'll still get some sales on the weekends, but it just won't be as much. I like to ramp up my advertising between Monday night at 11:30pm to Thursday night at 11:30pm. I do this because on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I get the most sales consistently. I've done years of research and after compiling a ton of data, sales, blah blah blah, I came to the conclusion that the majority of users are online during the middle of the week. I can't exactly tell you why lol, I assume it's because they get bored at work and buying stuff for their websites, or it's because you're working directly with the decision maker of the company and they're trying to configure their payments with their payroll. They don't want all their services to be paid for on Friday since that's one of the busier days for them, they want it to be on an easier day during the week when they can focus on it more.

Those are just some of my ideas, but we will never really know unless we add some kind of field that asks why they buyer is purchasing at the time they are and why Buying bumps is really worth it?

I tend to get orders during the middle of the week - Tue to Thu mostly. But during the weekend I generally get messages with queries. So it seems that there are still people who use the site over the weekend, maybe planning what to do the following week.

Wow,this is interesting about the times but it makes sense to me. I do a lot of surfing over the weekends, just checking things out so yes EliteWriter I can understand why you get messages.

Then on Mondays I like to plan my week and to get some important things out the way, Tues, Wed and Thurs I get a lot of things done, and yes this includes placing my orders.

Fridays are often a finishing up day for me and I don't like placing orders on a Friday because I think I will be paying when no work will be done for a few days because it is weekend!

I believe that bumps can be very effective. I often get a sale shortly after I bump a service. It is all a matter of visibility, and then there is the issue of luck, since the right buyer needs to be checking out the site at that time, and you cannot control that. But since you will be on the first page you are surely increasing your visibility greatly, and thus your chances of getting a sale. As others suggested it is best to do some research about the best time to bump your service and I would test this with free bumps first, before buying paid ones.

Since, bumps will put you at the top of the list on the home page, I would say yes. The website gets a lot of traffic and a lot of views on a daily basis and this could be quite effective. I would test using some of your bumps for different times but also based on geo-targeted time zones. The world has many time zones so, choose wisely to see if you get a better results. Hey, another option is a featured listing for a month. You will have a static listing that slowly cycles with the other featured listings. If you notice, the same players always are in the featured listing spots. This says to me that the featured service works!

Yes, it's worth it. Paid bumps will automatically bump the service again after 12 hours so you get like 2 bumps into one. It also haves the highlight feature the first 4 hours which will increase your chances of making multiple sales.
Also, I don't think there is off limit of using free bumps, so I essence you could bump all of your services (if you have more than 5).

You can use 5 free bumps per day, but you can only bump any one service once every 24 hours.

Hi sanfora thanks for your question again. For promoting your service on SEOclerks has few ways. For example: permanent featured for $375, category featured for $50, highlight featured for $19 for 31 days. Compare with other feature for promoting service bump featured may more cheap. And you know 2 bump system available on SEOclerks, free and paid bump. I always used paid bump for my services. And if you bump one time by paid bump servcie, same service will re-bump each 12 hours. And each time your service will show in first page on SEOclerks. First page means more exposure and more exposure means more sale. So, I do not see any losing part by using paid bump service and actually it is very useful to me. So, why not for you? Paid bump should be worth investment for getting more sale of service.
