How does one do facebook post marketing to get traffic

I have noticed that a lot of persons do advertise their products and services to as many Facebook group as possible but when i checked out for any comments or reply, i see absolutely nothing despite the fact that they post good quality products and services. This is most common with Facebook groups that deals on MLM marketing, internet marketing, online advertising etc. Is it that the group members are also sellers themselves who jsut become members to be able to post in these Facebook groups that they belong or the buyers are not interested in them? please i want to know why?

on the other hand though you have to really be careful and pick and choose which groups are for you and which ones are not cause the down side is that you could be awaiting your time feeding your services to a whole bunch of ex buyers turned sellers and if that ends up being the case at that point it is safe to say that you are waiting your time and I am pretty sure we are all on the same page really when it comes to time being waisted no body has time for it and wants that in there life

Oh man I understand what you mean man I really do i do some face book marketing my self, in fact I actually have a lot of traffic that generates from face book time to time and honestly it is basically branching my self out as you said a lot of the time there a lot of group members in each group that have took it upon themselves to become sellers and with that being said unless what you plan on pitching has a designated audience then you might be just selling yourself to a bunch of people doing the same exact thing

Yes that is quite common. There are certain groups where several posts are made, and so the result is that your post is just another miniscule post among hundreds made daily. The result - it is barely visible, other to those people who are there right at the moment or a few minutes after you posted it. Otherwise it basically gets buried away among the rest. So the result is that you have to post often, and at different times, hoping to get more visibility. Often this ends up getting tedious and for those who see it often, frustrating and it puts you off. Thus the importance of choosing groups wisely.

Sure, i will go with your statement of choosing the groups wisely, that means one must choose the groups that belong to his niche. i guess the people you say that are there right at the moment or a few minutes after posting it should be the potential clients/buyers right if i am not mistaken? Also with our numerous sellers posting their constantly, then one have no choice other than to keep posting often at different times.

Hi chetaseo thanks for your question. I agree with you. All are going to say to promote any product, you need to promote on several facebook groups. And it is also true that, you will get some traffic from those post. It has not surety how much? But before expect traffic from those groups, I would like to say one importance things, why people will convert to your site? I am sure people only convert, when if they find something interesting or related with them. I think now you understand what you need to do? You must to post on those groups only related on your product or service. Cheap and free this is the best option to convert at least few amount of traffic from facebook.

Hi chetaseo I am going to say one method which I some time used for my service promotion. I created some fan pages. It is almost 10 fan pages. 5 fan page I created by some reputed brand name which similar with my product or service and other 5 fan pages I created only related my brand name. Than I was going to market for my fan pages and each day on several groups. And you can offer to your friends each day to make likes on your fanpage and make post each and every day to keep update. Just use pure method for getting fan. Besides, you can boost your fan pages by paid advertising by facebook. After 6 to 12 months you may get some amount of fan for your all pages. And all fan pages will make a good amount of fans. Once you reach more than 50K fan each pages. Hope all pages fan will convert traffic at least few amount of real traffic. Even if 1% traffic convert from per fan page, you will get 500 traffic for each page and 10 fan pages means 500 x 10 = 5000 traffic almost.

This method very useful but need to patience to make fan

I said this before and I'll say it again, Facebook promotion won't work for every single niche. Industry type niches have a low chance of ever making a profit with Facebook because when people are on Facebook they generally don't care about their profession, they're just there to scroll the feed a little, watch some funny picture, talk with their friends and upload pictures.

Nobody wants to talk or read business on Facebook. You do that on Linkedin or other similar places, not of Facebook type of social networks. On the other hand Facebook is perfect for viral stuff, ecommerce websites and other trivial and stupid stuff.

Hi Cristian thanks for your nice answer. yes I do agree with you. Facebook will not work for all niche. People are very much love to do chat or share something interested to each other. Very low amount of people are searching for serious business on Facebook. I said one method on my previous post. I just follow that method when I am going to promote any product. And I think fan page more effective than groups. Because groups member even do not know where they added or how many groups he added? On the other hand, fan only come who willing to like your page. So, I think fan page may more effective than groups.

Yes I totally agree with this, I have had much more success with my Facebook pages than with posting in groups. I have had so many people rave about how great Facebook groups are but my experience has shown very little success. Yes I share my content in Facebook groups and yes I get a little bit of traffic from this, but all in all I find it one of the least successful of all my online marketing efforts.

Maybe I should just keep at it and see if it build up over time? I am not too peeved as I haven't had such great expectations. I do think focusing on LinkedIn or Twitter would be a lot more worthwhile.

I am a member of a lot of Facebook groups and I post a lot of things for 3 of my websites all in different niches. I have also purchased services here that post to Facebook groups, all in all millions of members and you know what? The results are really not very exciting.

I believe there are two types of Facebook groups. The first one would be one where there is a proper interactive communities that have members that post and chat on each others threads. These types of groups don't allow ads to be posted to them usually.

The other type of group is where someone in a specific niche sets up a group so that they and others can promote in the group. However the only people I believe truly get this really right are the people that create a really big and successful group because they can them pin their offer to the top of the group, they have all the control. These types of groups are firstly spam fests, so everyone is just sending content to it and nobody is really that particularly interested in what others post.

There are two types of people that post to these groups. The ones that do it manually so actually go to the group to post. They might see something in the group. The rest are people like me that use software like Mass Planner to send posts to groups on autopilot. I don't even log into Facebook, never mind actually go into those groups.

My software finds groups in specific niches and joins them automatically and then I send things out. There are a lot of people that do this, especially in the big online marketing groups... so even though the group may have 500 000 members your post will often reach very few people.

That is my 2 cents worth anyway.

That said I have had a few sales from Facebook groups but you will really need to send out a lot of posts to achieve anything.

Some times it is not about getting a reaction you do not always need some one to take the time out to comment or like your post when you face book market it is all about raising awareness by the end of the day your job is to reach out I'm pretty sure you go through things that you may see but don't give a reaction to so with that being said don't let it effect you when there's no reaction to your post cause I'm sure people still saw it and that is really the point at the end of the day

Depending on the Facebook group but I know that most members there are only for taking it in. In other words, they are not keen on sharing. The best way to get traffic in Facebook is to build up your own list of active friends. Post regularly with something that is relevant to most of your friends. When you have built up your reputation then it would be easier to convince them in reacting to your marketing post.

An easy way is to create a page or a group and post all your links there, you can creative on this there's a lot of ways and possibilities like sharing your links with permission to the groups that youre a member of etc.

I have seen the Facebook ads also work to get the Facebook post boosted. And you can have it boosted to the right set of the people. Traffic is a bit tricky thing. And getting it targeted always helps. In case of the Facebook, it's always better to properly target the audience. If you can do that then facebook post are easy to promote to specific group of people. I'd recommend testing out with a small budget.
