Stick to a specific niche if you're an affiliate marketer.
Seriously, aren't you tired of all these emails you get each day?
- I get a handful of emails each day and I often get emails during the whole week from the same person.. But, he's promoting another product each time.
That just doesn't work for me.
Even though I know he's promoting other people's services or products, I would still prefer to get emails about products in a certain niche or two. Not just blatantly sending me emails about whatever products he can find. It's annoying.

But it really depends for me how many I'm getting and whether or not I'm finding them valuable. I guess it sort of depends who you're subscribed to and what you're subscribing to as well. I don't mind getting emails about different products they are promoting if they are working for those people and they don't try and oversell it and just it for what it is. New affiliate programs or products they're reselling, what's hot and trending right now and what they're doing to go about it all. That is useful as you can then apply that in your own life.
But I know what you're saying in that when you're subscribed to something specific you really want to get emails that is all about that specific niche market or product or service that will help to empower your knowledge and expertise on that niche market or product etc. I wouldn't mind if the products and things promoted were somehow related but not just blatant plugs of different products and things that would just annoy me and too many would have me clicking that "unsubscribe" link that by law should be in the email so you can unsubscribe at any time.
That's what I think!
Mike.
That being said, about 3-4 later, he suddenly, from nowhere, started to send an average of 2 emails each day, 7 days a week, with less valuable information and it looked like he was basically just copying a product's description and sent me the information about the product along with his affiliate links..
I unsubscribed after 3 weeks or so. I had hopes but it went downhill from that point.
I wonder what what his ROI ratio is like that makes it worth doing like that? I prefer to subtly and gently persuade people into it, make them feel like they need it and then slowly eventually offer it to them but only because it would be good all round but that's how I think when I'm writing services on here to sell and that and I would much prefer that myself rather than the bait and switch technique!
It's a shame actually. And now I'm interested to know if this guy even exists nowadays or if this was some sort of attempt to earn huge amounts of money before he gave up freelancing.
I even try to unsubscribe from the emails but they keep coming back, and it appears that once I try to unsubscribe I get double the amount of emails after than before I attempted to unsubscribe. I think they realize that the email account is active, and spam me to hell, and don't even care to acknowledge my opt out request! Very annoying indeed!
