Building a monstrous blogging website with you and your friends.

I've been mulling over this idea for a while now and I've decided to come here to see what everyone thinks.

Now a lot of you here already know who I am, if you don't, I'm Razzy and I write a lot about SEO, Online Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, and pretty much anything that has to do with the birth of website to making money from that website Building a monstrous blogging website with you and your friends.

I've been talking to a few of my friends and I have a pretty cool idea that I'm going to share, because you can be part of it too Building a monstrous blogging website with you and your friends.

My idea is that I could set up a platform where we all register and start posting. You would get your own personal blog within the website but every page would be linked together somehow and your pages would be searchable from any other page on the website/monster blog. I hope that make sense lol Building a monstrous blogging website with you and your friends.

The beauty of this would be that everyone can create their own content and we could pull in traffic from hundreds of keywords within a short period of time. We can have a rating system that would rank certain posts higher than others based on views, likes, upvotes, etc. but it would have to be monitored a lot because people could game the system using software they create specifically for out new beastly monster blog platform Building a monstrous blogging website with you and your friends.

I would do a revenue share among all the members, even the people we don't know. This would encourage random users to come in and post quality content. The revenue would come from advertising space linked through BuySellAds, Adsense, or some other big media company. We would have to manage each post to make sure it's not a copy/paste job, but that shouldn't take too much in the beginning and we can automate this over time. We would have to set something up so that people posting a ton of great content would get a bigger share of the profits than someone who posts once and leaves forever. It wouldn't be too fair if someone posts 100 times a month and gets the same payout as someone who posts 1 time a year lol. Obviously I would have to keep enough in the account to cover hosting, but that shouldn't be too much since it's a newer website. When it gets bigger I wouldn't expect the server to cost more than $1,000 a month, unless we get (summons Donald Trumps voice) Huuuuuge!

I'm sure there is something out there like this, but the beauty of the search engines is that they love content. That means if there's competition, it won't matter too much because we can always post free content Building a monstrous blogging website with you and your friends.

The content wouldn't have to be from a specific niche, it could literally be anything which makes this idea extremely expandable Building a monstrous blogging website with you and your friends.

Has anyone else thought of something like this?
Is it possible to do or is this a far fetched idea?

Thanks Building a monstrous blogging website with you and your friends.

Oh that sounds interesting.. kinda along the lines of Steemit? Although that is more of a social network and I am not sure how the earning actually works there and it seems that might bomb!

So you mean a website which is a platform for anyone to join and start blogging or creating any kind of content? Income would be shared among members that are posting according to how much content they contribute?

I'm just wondering how everything would be monitored, since as we all know. not all content is equal.

How would you reward two people that post the exact same number of times, and number of words per post for example but one writer just manages to create really engaging content and at the same time pulls in really good organic traffic as opposed the second writer that doesn't achieve nearly so much with his or her writing?

Yes I get the views, likes, comments and all that but what about the organic traffic aspect too?

You will need some dedicated friends with some good copywriting skills, something that my friends fail at. This is a good idea but I don't see it happening just because such partnerships tend to fail at one point, especially due to lack of interest because initially the website won't produce any income and everyone is essential "writing" for free.

I have to agree that a partnership with multiple writers can result into a huge website with a lot of content and a lot of organic traffic.

I have a handful of websites. However, I don't have time to build contents for each of these websites. I also do not have a budget to acquire contents. In lack of enough contents, my websites are not doing good. Therefore, since sometimes I am brooding over an idea. What if I start a website and ask some friends to join the site. We regularly publish contents, join various advertising platforms and make money. By doing this I will be able to have fresh contents regularly and there will also be good traffic as all the friends who are writing on the site will promote the site.

This monstrous blogging website is a good idea although it’s not easy to implement. I’m sure you can do the design since you guys are well versed with website designs But how do you get people to create their own blogs in that site? I think I already have been a member of one similar website but the name escapes me now. Anyway, my question is the revenue sharing. If there is no earnings for the bloggers then it would be very difficult to convince people to blog on your website.
