How To Become A Better Copywriter?

Hello freelancers and content creators!
I would love to improve my writing skills and I am interested in "the art of copywriting".

I do know that you'll have to work hard and all that, and obviously just "train, train and train some more" to get better results and improve your skills in general. So I do understand that this is what I'll have to do. However, I'm looking for a "better way" of doing it.. Which is why I ask you.

I'm aware of the fact that you could just Google whatever you're looking for and I've been doing that too.. But I'd love some help from you guys!

Do you think you can improve your copywriting skills by writing articles for instance, or do you think you'll have to focus on copywriting alone?

For those of you who don't know what a Copywriter is:

Copywriters (known as continuity writers in broadcasting) are used to help create direct mail pieces, taglines, jingle lyrics, web page content (although if the purpose is not ultimately promotional, its author might prefer to be called a content writer), online ads, e-mail and other Internet content, television or ... Yes of course you can improve your copywriting skills and I am sure you will do great at that. I need to spend more time working on copywriting as opposed to content writing. I feel like my content writing skills are good and people read my content and they engage with it however I am not so sure my copywriting skills are that great. I would also love to learn more about copywriting.

I was under the impression that copywriting was more writing sales copy? Writing something and making people take a certain action afterwards, like subscribing or purchasing something.

Yeah, you're right Lynne. That's what a copywriter does. - But that also basically means, that they're still writers, right? - A copywriter does what an article writer does, but they do things a bit differently, as they write to make sales etc. And not just to hand out information to people in the way of articles would be written. - But even though both copywriters and article writers are writing content, it's often a HUGE difference in the cost between the two. - An article writer would charge you basically $5 for a 500 word article, and a copywriter could potentially charge you anything they want for the same amount of words. If they can prove that they're indeed outstanding copywriters. But even if an article writer is AMAZING, he will never be able to make as much money as a copywriter can make.

The best training for copywriter that you can get for free is to read good articles and understand the writing style. Good copywriters can elicit reactions from their readers. It’s hard to explain that part but if you can write something that can make the reader react then that’s already an achievement. But for me, I would be rather natural in my writing than to be sophisticated. It’s not good to show an impression that you are too good to be true with your writing.

Copywriting is a skill that not all writers have. I do believe that I'm particularly good in copywriting because it was actually one of my first online jobs. I was tasked to write tag lines, descriptions, and product adverts for hundreds of products and I love doing it.

To develop as a copywriter, you need to work hard, that's all. Any skill is developed in practice, and the more it is, and the result is better, the more you grow. I remember when I was in college, I worked writing commissioned essays. Not all topics were easy for me, but especially the study of the influence of social networks. Therefore, I used services with ready-made works, you can learn this here now and just corrected the text. After a while, I just wrote so much on social networks that I began to understand this topic. Thus, I acquired skills further. Not knowing something, I was looking for how it is done, and by trial and error, I got this skill.
