What are the best free traffic sources

What are some of the best free traffic sources out there? I'm using instagram at the moment but wouldn't mind some out of the box ideas.

The best FREE traffic sources would definitely be social media platforms.
Assuming you have built a good niche theme and have real and active followers who are interested
in your niche, this would be the best FREE traffic source.

All social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, ... I probably still missed some since there's so many.

I'd also suggest forums, blogs, article marketing, SEO (can be a bit harder if you are just learning). Overall, it depends on your business and who is your target audience. Once you know that it's easier to focus on the specific available sources. Hope this was helpful and good luck with your projects What are the best free traffic sources

Social media is the best source of free traffic. I prefer to share my link on Twitter and Facebook. These are the free and best source of traffic. I think Twitter is the best place to get the relevant audience and the people of your own interest.

You can also get free traffic by sharing your links in blog comments and forum posts. You can search youtube for relevant videos related to your blog and leave a link with the description in the comments.

The best free traffic sources : Obliviously the social media stands first as it the place where we can find a lot of people, so you can easily drive tonnes of organic traffic into your blog/website simply by sharing your posts on the social media groups and communities, the best among the social media sites are Facebook and google plus. Apart from the social media we can also generate some organic traffic through forum posting, blog commenting , posting links on youtube.

"THE SOCIAL MEDIA" It is the place from where you can generate huge amount of organic traffic into your website/blog. But mere sharing your post on social media will not give effective results , but instead you must post the posts targeting people who are interested in the niche of your blog, foe example , if you are building a website based on agriculture then you can share your blog posts on facebook groups that are based on agriculture. This way you can drive large amount of people into you blog. Apart from this you can also generate traffic from blog commenting, forum posting.

Yeah social media is the best way and try get your self a lot of social signals. Use Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google+ and reddit sometimes it is hard to get traffic from reddit you just need to be smart . As reddit can generate alot of traffic but at same time you need to interact with the site first before doing anything. As they will think you just come to advertise or spam the site.

Every social media platform is your free source for traffics. You need to be on every social media platform to get some paid or free traffics for your blogs or websites. Most of the traffic comes from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, Goggle+, etc. You should try every social media platform to reach more audiences for your niche.

The best traffic source for me would definitely have to be Facebook and Instagram. However, recently most of my earnings have been from running ad campaigns on Instagram.

My personal favorite is the social media. You can see that twitter and facebook can be really good for some genre. You may find that facebook groups and pages can bring some good traffic rules in such case. I have found that some of the time free traffic may not convert well. It seems to be going well for many people. I have learned that free traffic sources such as social media are lot better for many reasons. Some for good ads and some for selling stuff online.

Obviously, the general consensus here is that free social media sites are the best economic choice for generating traffic--and I tend to agree--I have been able to use facebook and twitter with great success. I have not yet delved into Pinterest and Instagram, so I would love some advice regarding those options before I give them a shot--I especially interested in setting up a blog at Pinterest, or converting one of my current blogs to their platform, but I am not sure if I should go that route or not.

I think SEO is my main traffic source but beside that, forums and social media gave a decent traffic to my website daily. These traffic sources are very quality and I think they are the best traffic sources that every website owners should try to get them.

I really liked facebook as a free traffic source. You can make your friends and family to help you sharing your content or the products you are selling and that way you won't have to spend money in advertsing. You can also create contests to increase traffic in your facebook page too if you wish, these are great ways to increase you number of followers and to created traffic...

Yes Facebook and other social networks are great sources for free traffic but it didn't convert as well as forums, because traffic from Facebook are pretty common and not good if you want to have good traffic for a specific niche.

When it comes to free traffic, my best bet is Facebook. However, free traffic is not actually free because the price you pay is the effort that you put in.With Facebook, you will be needing an account that has thousands of friends so that when you post something, so many can read it. With that, you can get a higher number of those who will react when you post the link of your website. But you have to be creative with your post so that your Facebook friends will not tag you as spammer.

One thing to remember about social media traffic, though, is the fact some of it isn't free. For instance, Facebook posts often don't reach your feed or another one. In that case, a boosting would be in order, and while it's cheap, it's not free.

Anyway, the advantage of Twitter is that it's always free - from what I know. How about other platforms?

Other free traffic sources you could tap into:

Blog directories:
Though people use search engines to find what they want, a small percentage of net users occasionally visit blog directories to find blogs which might interest them.

There are many free blog directories where you can get your site listed. Good thing is apart from the traffic, you'll getting a few high quality backlinks in the process.

Social bookmarking sites.
If you market your site right and create high quality content, you can draw lots of traffic from bookmarking sites like stumbleupon.

Traffic From Free Blogs
Try tumblr.

Forums
Forums can also be a good traffic source because on each forum, on your profile page you are allowed to add a link that points back to your site.
