Is it more difficult to come up with something unique now?

As many of you will now, there are probably millions if not billions of websites on the internet nowadays. As the number of people using the internet increases, so does the amount of people that want to make money online. But is it possible to start a unique online business anymore? Because of the amount of sites online, the chances of there already being something similar to what you want to start is massive. What methods can we use to help us come up with new and unique ideas? Or is it just important to try and go with popular idea but try and best the best in the market for that niche?

Possible yes. Easy definitely not. Most things in life are possible but that does not mean they're easy to come nor that they should be pursued. Still, it is possible to come with something brand new. You just have to have an awesome idea and work hard on it. You can definitely try to succeed in a known niche but you got to focus on quality and add your very own special touch to things.

It is difficult to come up with some completely unique idea for online business or whatever. But using some older ideas and adding some interesting twist to it can be also very interesting for your visitors and you still have chance to go viral with something like that. We also see many completely cloned websites and they are yet popular, so it means that even not so unique ideas can work if you know how to do it...

Very true! If you look at popular and viral material, a lot of it has personality. Whether it's the person on camera, the way they edit, the things they do or say, personality goes a long way. It's increasingly difficult to come up with unique ideas for almost any aspect of creating things, and I'm a firm believer that if you put yourself or your brand into what you're creating, it'll be more effective every time.

Everything has been already covered online, nothing is untouched. You may think about anything, check online lo and behold its already there. There is nothing that can be termed unique.
Even in the world outside world wide web, everything has been done, there is no idea that has not been implemented. Nothing is virgin here.
However, this does not mean you cannot work on the idea. You can improve or improvise and make it your original idea. let me illustrate this. Bikini has been in existence for a long time, people made takini. Then one who designed takini created an original idea from the existing idea.

This is true. You can always find ways to improve things that currently exist and make it your own. A decent example would also be our tablet PCs. We already had a portable version of the PC, which is the laptop, but why not make it even more portable by turning it into a tablet with the same power and capabilities as a laptop? With the ever changing demands in technology, improvement has constant demand.

I think almost every topic under the sun is being written about. And lot of counter and same view can be found on google. But there is need for quality. Lot of content online does lack the quality. And for this reason it's hard to refer to those sources as good. I can tell you that it's worth going forward for the better content in such case. You can see that it's hard to write original content for many writers this way.

It may not be that easy to come up with something new and unique nowadays, but we can surely recycle old trends and ideas or provide a local flavor to successful concepts to make them appealing to our website's target. The basic business principle stays - you have to identify the needs and wants of your target audience and set your website to provide the solution to their needs and wants. We don't really have to reinvent the wheel to do that. There will always be game changers, of course, but I'll be fine with modest success. thank you.

Nowadays, there will always be a version of something. When I was just starting to write content, I would actually copy paste content from other websites, paraphrase them, and add a little twist. Woe is me, someone else had gotten ahead to do that! I'd get flagged by Copyscape and had to revise my work. Who says a slew of synonyms can get you by when writing online content? I've learned my lessons. My work always has to be better than its sources. Innovate and thrive!

Unless it is a new invention or a new discovery you will have to go with the flow and within that flow create something that is unique which is possible. Let's take events in real life. There are millions of celebrations but people do try and make theirs unique. The people, the place, the food, all that is not the same. Similarly what you have to offer o the surface may look mundane but you can present it in a unique way.

Don't be caught off guard by the saturation of existing ideas. There will always be an abundance of new ideas that will meet extraordinary demands and create niche markets. Enshrined within our code for fulfillment and even our very existence is the ever lasting necessity to prevail. As such we are constantly in search of ideas and mechanisms that help us to achieve this. I think difficulty and a burning desire to fulfill upon a given circumstance is a part of the magic formula. The internet is still very much in it's youthful stage. With the advancement of certain projects like "The Internet of Things" and continued breakthroughs in Artificial Intelligence and with significant adjustments in major global markets, we have to keep our ears to the ground and our eyes on the web as the changing times unfold these opportunities in one form or the other.

Precisely. I think like that when it comes to getting into a saturated niche as well. There might be thousands of people doing the exact same thing that you are doing but if you can add something new to your service while keeping costs and revenues in check you're in for a good business.

Hi there thanks for your query. It is difficult to start any unique business on online even locally. And you may see over 99% online business came up on previous idea but it may addition version or more update or more modern. But, idea is old. But, as i think unique business or profession may different. For example, when I start my online journey 8 years before, in that time my all friends tried to establish their career by doing 9 to 5 job. And I only different person who came in online based job. And I learned many things from online. For me it is not unique profession? yes I think so. But, if you think world base unique, it is really difficult to do different.

You hear the saying if there is a will there is a way. Yeah, there are a lot of people these days online wanting to make money some are successful well others are not. There are many ways to do this and it just takes time and effort you could easily get your blog to make money on the right niche and traffic. Adsense is one of the best ways of earning online depending on the right niche as Adsense doesn't like some topics like adult or gambling so if you can find a great interest to blog about and get targeted traffic your blog or site will be booming ;).

Right. Also having unique keywords on your blogs or websites can really help in traffic. Come up with something unique but somewhat popular to all people. Unique in a way that you won't even read it to other blogs or sites similar to your title or topic.

Well there's different between coming with new model and doing something unique. And it will be hardly possible to come up with entirely new or novelty when it comes to internet business. But yes we can come up with something unique. Of course it can be model about an existing business line, but there will be some things that will differ It from others in that line. This will make it unique and it could take the visitors from the existing businesses

Naturally, as more and more content is produced, it becomes increasingly more difficult to come up with a completely unique idea. This doesn't mean that a never before seen unique idea doesn't exist, it's just incredibly rare to come across. In most cases, your best bet is to take an approach to whatever you're doing, be it web development, video production, advertising or marketing, that's proven to work well and add your own twist to it. Personality goes a long way. We all have our own personalities and qualities, and when that comes through in your work, I think it makes it more relatable and that much more unique to the audience.

Bringing something entirely unique is near impossible. However, an old idea can be modified, manipulated and cloned in a different way to make it unique. For example, online markets have been online for a very long time but we all can affirm to how some markets have become world players even though they didn't start it. It's all about the creativity of improving an old idea to solve new problems.

In a way yes, because there's a lot of people out there who probably thought the same thing already. But keep in mind that the best ideas are the ones that become unique because they are hard to do/implement. If anybody could do the idea that you thought about, then chances are it will not be unique. But if the idea is something that people might have thought of but is too hard for them to do/put into action, then the more chances it will be one of a kind once you become the one to bring it to life.

Yeah even if you don't have an original idea you could portray in an original way yes? Let's you are going to open a bar. There are thousands of bars out there. But you think "hey this bar will have a special decoration of a theme I like a lot and it's very popular" See? You can bring new life into an old niche most definitely.

This is a very interesting question. The answer is yes and no. Yes in the sense that every topic is covered in the internet in some way. No in the way that not everything might be covered in a scoped down niche. For example, you may find food delivery service by any restaurant but it might be hard to find a food delivery service which will deliver you food from different restaurants for a whole week. Coming up with a unique service has become the key now-a-days.

Well, logically thinking - the more content there is about a specific theme or topic, then, of course, more things are covered and therefore it is much harder to find unique aspects that nobody has yet covered! But this doesn't mean that you can't succeed or anything like that. It just means that you have to work a tiny bit harder. The competition is packed and it is true that there are millions of topics and problems that have been solved. You have to be extra creative and find new, unique approaches to things which can be difficult.

it is still possible to come up with unique sites, always have to think outside the box.Even with all the invention in the world, more things would be invented to our amazement.

creating a unique site takes thinking intelligently, l looking round to see what is needed by the internet users or enhancing what is already on ground and you will good to go

I don't think it's difficult to do something unique despite the competitions , In my opinions I think everyone got something which makes him or her uniques it just a matter of figuring it out and use that as your weapon, So to me it's not impossible to be unique because everyone got something special and unique.

I think the odds of starting a new unique website are over, every subject has been covered to the moon and back. And I think success is on many levels. Some people measure success on how much money they make, some people measure success on how many friends they make. I measure success on as long as I am having fun and I am enjoying what I am doing then I am very successful. Because no amount of money is worth doing something that I don't like for money!

It is always possible to come up with something unique if you are creative enough to think of one. E-commerce is booming in the internet and ideas are almost everywhere. The only question now is how to think of a unique idea for online business. Don’t ask me because I am not a creative person although I have enough experience with business. If you look around the net at some of the more successful social media networks, theirs wasn't entirely something new. Before theirs got to be popular, there were sites like them but they figured out what extra features they could offer net users. It's this ability to be offer more that got them results.

That IMO is how you could come up with something which though not unique would enable you to beat all your competitors even though they've been in business longer.
