Why can't I sell my freelance services on SEOClerks?

My Name is Joyson Simon. I Am a Professional Motion Graphic And Vfx artist From India

I posted a service two days ago for intro animations.

I have previous experience selling on other sites and want to try it out here too.

So far, no one has contacted me for this purpose via my service.

I want to know why I can't make sales here or what I should be doing to promote myself on SEOClerks to attract buyers.

It's only been two days, so you might give it just a little bit longer before you get too discouraged. From what I saw on your profile, your animation is pretty impressive and I would think well worth the price you're asking for it. It might just take a bit for people to notice you, but once you get those ratings and reviews rolling in, I'm sure you'll do just fine!

In the mean time, have you tried promoting your gig? On the left hand side of the screen, underneath the phrases you've used to tag your gig, there's a link that says "promote this gig". Why not follow the steps there and see if you can increase the reach of your service?

Just like other freelance markets, you would always want have reputation an feedbacks on your profile because most clients are basing those to how good your services would be. I am not saying that it is mandatory, but it is also a must at the same time. But having a complete portfolio and a lot of sample jobs specially from your past clients, those would most definitely catch an attention and would want those clients to chose you.

gaqlegatling,
As usual, you have posted another good and helpful post.
It takes a while, to be sure, to develop a good rapport with clients and to get your name out there. There is so much competition online that it seems endless. I need to collect testimonials from previous clients who praise what i do and then put those on my blogs and sites in order to help boost my reputation.

Thanks JM! I just shared what I learned from all these years searching the Internet and hearing from other people specially on how they become successful. But I guess it's not for everyone. :/ I haven't still got my break but I know it will come one day. Patience and hardwork prevails. ^_^

I am trying to hang in there and to keep up a good attitude as I learn. Are there any other post for pay sites out there that you could recommend to me while I hone my writing skills? I've been mainly using Postloop, and I like it a lot, but I'd like to experiment with some other venues as well if you have any you could suggest.

That's great! I know these other two pay-to-post sites. They are TheForumWheel and Forum Coin (if I am not mistaken - you can google the exact web adress). They pay good and they are legit as well. But their rules and methods are kind of different. I haven't really tried them but I heard good things about them.

You're welcome JM. (: Those that I have mentioned are working and have really good feedbacks from other people. I saw them on workersonboard forum which is also a good source of active or passive incomes. You should also check that one out. It's a forum for all online kind of jobs. Why can

SEO means Search Engine Optimization. SEOCLerk means you have to post a service where SEO related services are available. For animation related service it will be better if you try any other marketplace.

Thanks

I know that this site is named SEOClerk but I didn’t know that the marketplace focuses on SEO related services only. This is new information for me because I thought that sellers of views for Youtube are not related to SEO methods. Anyway, my advice to the newbie in this marketplace is to promote his services by joining discussions. His first post is good already that it earned comments. Maybe he needs to be engaging with the other posts in this site especially in discussions that are related to his service.
