4 elements customers want to see on your great website

When a person lands on your website, they got there because they thought you had something they could benefit from, but if you have a few things wrong with your website you will notice your bounce rate starting to skyrocket.  People will come to your website for it's content, but if your design is off or your content is always pitchy, they will leave quicker than they can finish a page of yours.  There are many things you need to do in order to increase your conversions, but keeping people on your website should be the first thing you focus on if you actually want to make money lol.

People think that your website should be the greatest thing they've seen that day, so try to do everything you can in order to give them that, and they will reward you somehow.  They could purchase from you, or they could share your content for someone else to come in and possibly make a purchase.  You'll never know how high your success can go if you're just annoying your visitors every time they stumble across your website, so follow these 4 things and boost your websites greatness!

Easy navigation so they know where everything is
When you get someone to your website, they will want to see that they can get to every single page they want to, and that means your navigation must be set up perfectly.  If your navigation is wonky, your traffic will begin to fall off and your sales will begin to slip.  If you haven't had a good navigation set up from the start, you really don't know how good it can get, so go through your website and make sure everything is perfect.

If you think everything is set up just right, ask someone that isn't in the website and SEO industry, and ask them to go through your website and write down things they think needs to be fixed.  If they say anything about your website being difficult to search through, you need to fix your navigation 4 elements customers want to see on your great website

Great content that doesn't always pitch them a product or service
If you're writing up amazing content, don't ruin it wil pitches left and right, because that's a quick way to lose your credibility.  If you want to be the authority within you niche, publish amazing content that is second to none, and your following will reward you will shares as well as increasing your sales.  It's not too difficult to write up great content, you don't really need formal training or a degree to do it, just make sure it's readable and provides a great deal of content for the reader to sift through.  If people like your tone of voice, within your content, they will likely come back for more 4 elements customers want to see on your great website

Your content can boost your sales exponentially, so writing the best articles you possibly can will always be beneficial to your and your overall success.  Your visitors want to see great content on your blogs or sub pages, that's how they will initially judge you and make a purchasing decision, so take your time writing up high quality content and thank me later 4 elements customers want to see on your great website

It has to be mobile friendly to keep your smart phone traffic happy
If you're website isn't responsive (mobile friendly) right now, you're going to annoy a lot of your visitors, expecially the ones who are coming to your pages through smart phones lol.  Making your pages responsive is a big thing now since the majority of Googles traffic is now coming from people on their phones doing spur of the moment searches looking for answers to their questions.

If you don't know how to make your website response, because you don't know how to code just like me lol, you'll likely have to purchase a WordPress theme that is responsive or bring on a programmer that can make your pages mobile friendly.  If your pages aren't mobile friendly, you might as well forget about doing any sort of SEO, because it will only get you to page 2 lol.

An easy checkout process
If someone is coming to your website because they want to make a purchase, they will want to see an easy checkout system, so they can purchase something quickly and be on their way.  No one wants to see that you have to register, verify your email, upload an image of yourself, scan in your drivers license, give a blood test, give up your first born, etc. in order to make a purchase.

Sure, you can have them register and enter their email, but you're going to want to stop there since you'll lose a lot of sales if you don't.  Think about it, how many times have you wanted to purchase something and it asks you to do 10 things before you sign up?  You likely leave the website because it's more of a hassle than you want to go through, and in the end you're not really sure what they are going to do with all the information you're inputting lol.

Make your checkout process simple and quick to boost your sales and overall ROI 4 elements customers want to see on your great website

In conclusion
People want to have an easy time on your website, and they don't always want to see a pitch when they're trying to read an article, so run your website how you want to browse a strangers site.  You don't want to run into a bunch of pitches, affiliate links, pop ups, redirects, etc. so don't do it with your own website.  Annoying your visitors is an easy way to kill your sales, so give them everything they want and only do your advertising in a signature link and banner on the side of your pages.  Please your visitors, don't annoy them, and your website will thrive 4 elements customers want to see on your great website

The mobile-friendly one is what I hate in most websites too. When you can't read anything when viewing from website, it's a "forget it" moment for me. Not all websites are mobile friendly probably because it's another cost to do it. However, for me that is essential since most users now access the internet through their mobile phones. You have to be mobile-friendly now.

Yes google has now made it compulsory for the ranking. One must have the mobile responsive website. And a lot of people are migrating from the basic website to the mobile website. And that;s another update that most of the old websites have to do in that case. I think a lot of great websites are not easy to work around there.

A responsive site means it is mobile-friendly that you can view the web page in the same fashion that you view it using a computer browser. The mobile browsers constitute the majority of internet users now which means a site that is not mobile friendly loses half of the traffic that it could get. Even if the adjustment of the site to be mobile friendly would cost an arm and a leg I think it is mandatory.

I like the easy checkout process because there is nothing worse for a consumer or for a business to have customers get bogged down in the checkout area. It could just be one of the things that can be frustrating when dealing with online capitialism, so quick check out needs to happen in my opinion.

Yes that's something even I like. I find it really hard these days to go through a lot of pain to fill out the form. And on that part I think many new websites are improving as well. I'd say if anyone wants to handle things better then it can be really good idea to work around stuff.

I have to admit that I am more on my mobile these days and I prefer to browse on sites which are mobile friendly. I prefer websites which look professional and are user-friendly. I like websites which are well organized. The content must also be of high quality. I get discouraged from buying at such sites where there is a long checkout process as this is very annoying.

The only time I ever make use of my computer system to visit sites is only when my phone is down due to low battery or that I'm in the office where there is a free Wi-Fi for me to make use of the computer system to visit several sites and make lots of downloads as well. Anything besides these two things, it's 100% my mobile device for any internet activities.

A mobile responsive website is very important today because lots of people use mobile devices wherever they go. If your website is not mobile responsive, you'll lose readers. Fortunately, content management system like WordPress has a mobile responsive theme that is available for free and premium. But even you are using CMS, you still have to test your website on different devices to make sure that it is viewed properly and the contents are readable.

I have been reading reports about the statistics of mobile users versus computer users in the internet and I guess we have a mix up of data. Until now I cannot get a confirmation although I feel that majority of internet users are those using mobile. So if you website is not mobile friendly then you may have a problem. I had visited one site that I couldn’t find the login or sign up. Maybe because it is designed for the computer browser. That site may be missing a lot of walk in visitors.

I also see conflicting reports of mobile and desktop usage for the internet. Surely there is a lot of mobile traffic, however sites are still basically designed for larger screens. Some responsive designs are just plain horrible. So if you have a bad responsive design, yes, you will be missing out on some mobile traffic, but who is to say that those visitors will not ever go back to your site? I believe they will just on a device with a larger screen.

Neglecting to make one's website to be mobile friendly is the biggest mistake a site owner would ever make in setting up his or her website because about 80% website visitors makes use of mobile devices. So cutting them off is like cutting off the major source of traffic for your website.

Easy navigation so they know where everything is

I would have to agree but in another instance. Some websites that are not mobile responsive first (meaning the template is responsive but it favors the non-responsive css) have horrible design via mobile. A lot of big websites offer a smartphone app these days and mobile responsive templates but people seem to download the app more than viewing the website via mobile.

I would even go as far to say maybe offer an app if your website's responsive design isn't good. This way your visitors can still browse your website, and have a better experience.

I think navigation is really important. Not a lot of people get it right. And they end up having more of issues with the website. You can see that it's not a good thing to ignore the navigation. We have to focus on the content too. Because without that part there is no better way for the people. So I think you have mentioned some of the right points required for the website.

I always try to make my website user friendly having an easy navigation menu on the header. I also show my important pages on the footer or side bars that the the users can find the contents as well as important pages. I do place ads withing my contents, however, I dont' usually pitch a product or service on my posts. I always try to limit my ad units to three units and only share relavant products. I use responsive design so that my website also appears good on mobile devices.
