5 things your website must have to impress visitors

When you want to impress your visitors, you need to do various things, but there are 5 that always come to mind when working on a clients website or one of my own.  When someone comes to your website, you'll need to WOW them in order to make a sale or get a sign up.  If your website doesn't have a wow factor, you'll quickly notice that you aren't making as much money as you should, and now you'll be behind your competitors who have their own WOW factor lol.  You can do various things to achieve this goal, which I'll go over here shortly, in order to keep your visitors coming back or get them to make their first order through your pages.

If you're not impressing your visitors, there is someone out there that will gladly do it for you, which means you're losing plenty of sales from a boring website that has no uniqueness to it.  Building a website is never the easiest thing to do in the world, but you can bring no freelancers to do this for you, or you can just user WordPress with a theme and get the visitors loving everything.  Hiring a freelancer could cost a bit of money due to them charging for uniqueness, and that means more time is involved, so obviously the price tag will go up drastically.  If you're ok with WordPress premium themes that you can customize on your own, I highly suggest taking that route because it's much more affordable and you can use the rest of your money for marketing or custom image design

Good navigation structure
Navigation is a crucial thing when it comes to pleasing your visitors.  If your navigation is confusing, or broken, you will see people are beginning to hate your website and they aren't coming back a second or third time.  Your navigation structure can be unique, as long as people can clearly see where everything is and can find where they're going.  If you have something that has a header navigation, side navigation, and footer navigation all going to different parts of your website, you'll just be pissing people off because they will always have to restart their search down the rabbit hole and they will decide to leave your website rather than search around for a second time.

Easy navigation is crucial to impressing visitors, and that's what you should be trying to do, so get to work and make it simple yet fun at the same time.  Use drop down menus when someone hovers over your header, and it will give a little additional design feature to your pages, which is a great thing when it comes to impressing people


Fresh content that they can engage with
If you have content from 1999 and your pages haven't been updated since, you will not impress anyone because it will be extremely old and no one can relate to it lol.  You'll need to post fresh content, daily if possible, in order to keep people coming back over and over again.  After their first 2 or 3 visits to your website, they might just bookmark you because they'll think "Oh Hey!  I've been here a few times and I like their content!" which is what you'll be trying to do.

Fresh content not only keeps people coming back, it boosts your search engine rankings over time because Google will see what you're doing and they will love every word you're sharing with your visitors   Keep up the good writing, and make sure it's unique and fun to read, so people can begin to engage with it.  The more engagement that is unique, the better your content will become in the eyes of Google


Easy support system with great support
An easy support system goes a long way when it comes to offering great customer support.  If someone is upset with their experience, you don't want to annoy them with a difficult time trying to contact you or submit a support ticket and wait for you to respond.  You should have a chat system set up for people that need quick questions answered, and also offer a ticketing system for people that can't sit around and wait for you to respond to your chat answers. 

Usually, with chat systems you will want to set it to "Away" when you're asleep, so you don't get people trying to contact you, and then get annoyed because you're not responding.  If you have a ticket system in place, you'll need to show the average response time, and hopefully it's under 2 or 4 hours lol.  I know I get annoyed when I submit a ticket and see I have to wait up to 48 hours for a response lol


Blow average pricing paired with high quality
This is a little more difficult to do since it's really up to you and how much you want to profit, as well as who and where you're getting your products from.  If you're going right to the manufacturer, and purchasing in bulk, but I doubt you're doing that much work because you wouldn't be surfing through an SEO website since you have enough money to just pay an entire team of in house workers to do your optimization lol

People love saving money, and they love high quality products even more, so if you can pair the two you will make a ton of money in a short amount of time.  The only problem is that most manufacturers know their worth, and they won't drop their prices below their competitors just to make a sale   If you can somehow figure out how to get quality wholesale products without having to purchase thousands in advance, let me know please


Detailed branding on big authority websites
When you get a review or interview posted on a 3rd party website that is one of the bigger authority websites in your industry, that is worth it's weight in bitcoin lol   Think about it, if I were to get my content writing website listed on Forbes or entrepreneur, I would obtain a major backlink as well as build my brand quicker than most in my industry.  The only problem with this is that it's difficult to get these links unless you're already an authority, which is a conundrum in itself!

You'll need to start low, getting your content on lower quality websites, but set your standards and don't just shoot for the bottom of the barrel lol.  You'll want to boost your authority, so aim for website that are always seen in a better light by Google, so they can help boost your own pages and website in general   You won't usually be able to do a massive jump in authority, but you can easily get a DA35 link as a guest post if your website is DA20.  Getting a legitimate DA60+ link will be extremely difficult, unless you're buying it, if you're DA20 or under.  People want to link to great websites, and if you're just starting off, they don't have much trust in you.  So, get the links on similar DA websites, even some that are higher if you can, and work your way up the DA list

After you've been doing this for a while, you will have your own high DA website and people will be impressed with you since you're now the industry leader

Impressing people is just one of the many steps in marketing that you need to take when you want to make some money online.  It's a crucial step, because no one will purchase from an unimpressive website, so you'll need to show them why they can open up their wallets and make a purchase with you instead of your competitors.  There are actually dozens of ways to impress people, without paying them of course, in order to increase your trust with them.  If you are having troubles doing this on your own, I highly recommend searching for the best marketing company you can find and let them know you're trying to build trust among your community, and see what they come up with as a plan of action to do just this
