Motivation Monday - Choose not to be lazy and you'll be more successful
When I started working online I was doing 16 hour days regularly throughout the week. I didn't realize how dedicated I was until a few years later when I was struggling to work just a basic 8 hour day doing the same thing. I lost that hunger and drive which was all due to me getting lazy, and I decided to not be lazy, I actually chose to not be lazy when I started to slack off.
If you want to be successful, you need to push yourself not to be lazy at every moment you can, and that means you need to work when you're tired and beaten in order to have success come your way sooner rather than later.
It's Motivation Monday!
Keep pushing when times are down
No matter how tough times are for you, you need to keep pushing yourself and get something done because you never know how far success is down the road. You could be successful tomorrow, next week, or even next year but you'll never know unless you start paving your own road towards it one brick at a time.
When you're tired, push yourself to write just one more article or find one more high quality backlink or make one more phone call to see if you get a sale. Those little pushes can be the difference between you going bankrupt and becoming a millionaire. I can't tell you how many times I've put an extra hour into my work day and it's earned me thousands of dollars down the road. I've sent out a few emails, built some links, looked for some ad space, etc. for just 60 extra minutes a day and it usually helps out at the end of the week. I'll invest just 7 additional hours each week and it pays exponentially!
It's easy to be lazy but tough to be successful
Everyone can be lazy, it's actually the easiest thing to do as a human, and you need to break from that habit of just sitting on your couch because it doesn't tell you to get up and work. People want to sleep more than they want success, which is backward if you're running a business or you're a freelancer. You need to bust your ass and be the best you can, pushing down the lazy so it's not even a thought in your mind, and you'll be successful soon enough.
No successful person puts things off
I've never talked to a successful person who says "Eh, I'll do that next week!". Procrastination is not the key to success, hard work and dedication are, and I'm sure that's what you want! I've been stuck in rutt before and started to procrastinate and I saw my sales slipping, which I needed to change if I wanted to keep my businesses doors open. When I realized I wasn't motivated to work, I had to go out and change things in order to have the energy to be productive again. You could be in the same boat but you're not the only one experiencing this, so keep pushing towards success.
Your emotions aren't specific to you, millions of people every day are feeling the same things you are, but some individuals get past those emotions and push themselves towards success. If you want to be a successful person, you have to stop putting things off and just attack them head on to free up your work schedule to focus on the next thing.
Just one extra hour each day changes everything
Adding just 1 hour extra each day to your work schedule could mean the difference between success and destruction of your motivation. I mentioned above that just one hour added to my normal workload to find ads, contact clients, build funnels, etc. has brought in plenty of money in a short amount of time. That one hour invested could turn into an extra $100 a week or $1,000 a month, which is a ton of money if you think about how much time you put in to do the little bit of extra work each day
In conclusion
Being successful isn't easy if it were everyone would be doing it, so you need to choose to not be lazy and actually push yourself when you start to get down.
Say this: "I choose not to be lazy!"
That one line has pushed me to work longer on a project, brainstorm profitable ideas, and overall just have a better life. Your failures are because of you, not anyone else, so stop being lazy and get out there to be successful!

This is a habit that I've had the hardest time breaking. You could say that laziness is somewhat hereditary for me, as my own father always raised me to do the bare minimum--great parenting, I know. However, after I started living on my own, I began to realize that laziness and working for the bare minimum was a guaranteed way to live your life feeling like garbage.
While laziness and procrastination are still somewhat of a problem for me, there is one strategy that I've been trying to stick to which has helped me immensely, and that is the strategy for no zero days. What I mean by no zero days is that no matter how unmotivated or lazy I'm feeling, I promise myself that I won't do absolutely nothing that day.
If I don't feel like writing a page, I'll write a paragraph. If I don't feel like doing a forty minute workout, I'll do a ten minute workout. The secret to this is that typically, once you get started, you won't even want to stop at just the paragraph or the ten minutes, but you'll be motivated to go all the way. It's just about getting the engine started.
I used to be this way as well, and I'd say I still am to some degree. I would often validate my procrastination by telling myself and others, "I save things for the last minute because I work best under pressure."
To this day, I'm still not entirely sure if that is true or I was just trying to justify being lazy. This will come off as a humble brag, but even if I did a project the night before the deadline, I always received excellent results.
Meanwhile if I took my time and did it earlier, I'd say the results were just about above average. Who knows? Maybe it's just a superpower we have, haha.
It comes with a lot of demand, challenges, ups and downs, sweat etc. So therefore, if anyone is looking to be successful, such individual should be able and ready to sweat for it.
I actually came across a picture quote on Facebook today which says that experience is what builds self confidence, so it's very important to try starting up with something one have experience because it's going to impact on the person's confidence in the project.
I learned my lesson. Four months ago, I decided to start working full-time online but on regular working sites which online workers usually opt for. I decided to concentrate on Lottery, Writing, Gaming, and Survey sites. My friends told me that I can't possibly earn a decent wage with these sites because these are only considered as extra part-time income sites. Well, they were wrong big-time. Why did I chose to work on these sites? Because there's no time constraints, or schedules, I work until i like and get paid for the work I did. I can opt to start working on a different site per day. Surely I could have earned more if I just work as a virtual secretary or a social media manager or an 8 hour regular encoding or transcription job, but that's not me. I hate doing things over and over again. After almost 5 months of finding, testing and collecting my part-time sites, Im now earning a minimum of $40 per month for Lottery and Gaming so that's a total of $80, I'm earning $10 a month on my survey sites, that's low but I'm having fun. I have 6 writing sites and I'm earning $40 minimim in each one of them so that's $240, right now my total online earnings is $330 minimum. That's still low and I've challenge myself to double that in 3 months time.
So I agree with what you've said that pushing yourself to attain ones goals is needed to be successful, this is true not only online work but also in offline work. Establish a goal and focus on it, let it be your motivation. Lastly this is a jutsu I've been doing to eliminate stress, headaches and writers block. Sleep 8 hours a day, go out and walk or exercise an hour a day, drink lots of water and eat good food a lot. Do this and you can work 12 hours a day without being tired or bored.
