    Abra Cryptowallet legit?

    I was attracted to the Abra wallet for crypto because they offer Ripple, and also a ton of other currencies.  During sign in you have to give them your Facebook sign in or SS#.  Then transferfing money from you bank is also a bit of a security risk but I figured it was okay.  Bu then they send a follow up email wanting my license, a photo of me holding the license and a copy of a bank statement and I am sorry but that is way to F-ing much info for an app to have and way more than necessary for a wallet app.  Does anyone else have experience with this app?  I am for sure cancelling my account asap. I don't want Ripple that bad.

    That sounds like normal exchange practices. You have to remember in order to operate a crypto currency exchange most countries have laws like "Know your customer" "Anti Money Laundering" laws. They require exchanges to get all of your personal information in order to operate at federal compliance. The flip side to that is scammers are going to take advantage of that and make you think that the exchange is legit because its operating like any other. The reality is your information and photos of you are being used to scam other or even being sold on the dark web. Im not sure which country your in but the best place to get ripple would probably be https://www.kraken.com/en-us/signup I dont know if ill get in trouble for giving you this link because selling bitcoin here is not allowed. Honestly its unconstitutional to try and suppress information based on content, but here you go.

    P2P exchanges like LBC or PAX require very little to no verification to buy Bitcoin and once you have Bitcoin you can use any exchange you want to get ripple easily. Its alot safer and discreet than uploading all your bank info to some random exchange.

    I already have other wallets that asked only got my SS# and actual bank accounts. I have been using them for years (Coinbase, for example). Why would Abra need enough information for identity theft when the other wallets didn't? It is eith er a requirement (legally) or it isn't--and if it isn't a requirement, why do they need it? The photo of an entire bank return and a photo of me holding an ID... no, that's just weird.

    The requirement is to know enough about your customer. How they do that is completely up to them Social is 100% required every time, but the other things are just extra proof that you are who you say you are.

    I think it's really hard to transfer to another wallet to keep your coins again, if you already have the trusted one. Never heard this abra before, but if you think it's safe and you can trust it why not.

    The information being asked to provide by the cryptocurrency is too steep in my opinion. Probably they are legit or not but I can't be sure because I haven't used or heard about Abra wallet for crypto till now. What I would suggest is to look for more reviews on the cryptocurrency wallet to be sure if it's legit or not before you can then decide to join it.

    It seems that the crypto currency is now a growing industry with the countless of crypto currency that are surfacing and also the wallets and depository sites (I’m not really sure how to call them). My take on crypto currency is always with caution because you cannot accurately predict the value that you may buy now and tomorrow you may lose or vice versa. In other words, crypto currency is a gamble with your money.

    Abra Cryptowallet legit: I also have some satoshi collected from those apps that gives free satoshi since it was not that more as of now I just keep on collecting first before I will put into a wallet. Anyone here know the coins wallet? Is it safe? Abra cryptowallet requirement is something weird which i think i will not do so.
