Partner with offline companies and increase their sales

Whenever I talk to online companies who are struggling, I usually tell them to look at things from a different angle and stop following in the footsteps of other companies just like theirs.  You'd be amazed at how much money you could make when you think outside the box just a little bit.  Most of the companies that I'm talking to will never think about talking to offline businesses and help to bring them digital sales, take a commission, and build their business relationship with each other.

I have a few deals like this in the works, and I don't make enough money to retire from this little trick, but it does pay some bills and that's all I need it to do lol Partner with offline companies and increase their sales  You could do the same little things like this and find 50 offline businesses to generate sales for then retire in 10 years because you're making a ton of money on autopilot, but you still need to monitor and track everything to be sure you're getting paid for the exact amount of leads and sales you're generating.

You're not an affiliate
You need to understand that you're not an affiliate when you do this, you're more of a specialist that is helping build a company, and you're more of a partner than an affiliate or basic employee.

You're getting a commission, just like an affiliate would, but you're running websites like they're your own and sending sales to the bank account of the business you're working with.  You're not sending people through a link that will be tracked, you're collecting payments and running customer service online for these companies and that means you're actually the offline business in a digital world Partner with offline companies and increase their sales

Find companies run by older people
You could probably do something like this for a younger person, but they will likely have the support, skills, and knowledge to do it themselves and they will likely pay someone a few dollars to try and do what you do.

I say to target older people because they tend to be less tech-savvy and that means they likely won't have a website up and running in order to capture digital sales.  You can partner up with them, set up a few websites, funnel sales into their business account, and get paid X% or XX% from each successful sale they acquire.

Older people are more trusting when it comes to something they don't understand, and if you're an honest person they will let you help them online.  They will likely have someone else talk to you, someone who is more tech-savvy, in order to see what your intention are but that's pretty common.  I actually have a few elderly people who run a brick and mortar type business who I help, and that's how I got the idea for this method.  I offered to help them get online in order to make a few extra sales and they offered me a percentage of the sale if I just managed all their online stuff, which is what I do and I get paid bi-weekly for my help Partner with offline companies and increase their sales

Find a niche that isn't difficult to dominate online
A lot of the times you might find a company who is solely offline, but their online competition is pretty difficult, so you'll want to avoid those companies for now.  Put those businesses in a folder that you can go back to, but don't start off with them because it takes more time and money to help them, which is not something you want to do if you're just starting this.

If you can find a company that is in a less competitive niche and you think you can dominate online for them, approach the business owners and let them know what you can do for them.

If there are 10 companies within driving distance, who sell to local foot traffic, you can get multiple clients who all need the same work done Partner with offline companies and increase their sales  If all of these businesses are run by elderly people, you will have hit a gold mine lol.  Just approach with caution, don't seem too eager, don't be cocky, and don't be cocky when talking to them because you can turn people off pretty quickly.  If you've already done this in the past, show the people what you've done for other companies in a different industry, and they will likely sign up for your help online.

Set up conversion tracking to know what you should be paid
Since you're in charge of everything online, and just sending them the sales, you'll be able to track absolutely everything.  You will be able to track all of your traffic, analyze the best sources, know what ads are bringing in the most sales, and adding massive amounts of content to your websites in order to pull in search traffic.

You're running these websites like they're for your own business and if you're not monitoring all of the sales, you're just working for free, and that's not something we ever want to do.  Yes, you're helping people make more money, but you should be paid for your efforts.  And you should always be paid when you're only getting money from them when you generate a sale Partner with offline companies and increase their sales

In conclusion
If you can do everything I talked about above, you can get a few businesses up and running online and making extra revenue.  The business owners will be ecstatic, they will tell their friends, and you will get plenty of referrals that want to sign up with you before you ever talk to them Partner with offline companies and increase their sales  Remember, if you're working with older people, they likely know younger business owners or their kids do, and that means you're getting genuine referrals from a matriarch or patriarch of the family, and that's one of the strongest referrals out there.

Partnering with old people is always guaranteed to bring one great returns if you are able to do it well. There is so much that you can link them up with which is lost in the generation gap.

Well, it's not really guaranteed to bring in a good return, you just have a better chance at getting them to let you do the technical stuff like website design and marketing because the majority of older people aren't very tech savvy.

If you're knowledgeable about social media, you can likely get them to pay you for social media marketing since they likely don't post on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin, etc. for their businesses. You might want to do a week or two of work just to show them the power of new marketing channels because we all know that older people are set in their ways and don't really like to change Partner with offline companies and increase their sales So if you're doing some stuff for free, they will see the results, and they will pay you for your time month after month Partner with offline companies and increase their sales

Yes, it's true that old people have more wisdom than the younger ones but they lack younger ones skills when it comes to being up to date in technology which most businesses anchors on lately. So, when you target old people as business associates, there is an unbelievable increased chance of them delegatun all the work that are needed to be done to be all carried out by you.

The combination will always be proper and when the right people combine much can be accomplished. I would however advice seriuosneas as the older generation does not like jokers.

They will be more open to working with someone that not has the potential of doing a lot but also has the work ethic to prove it.

Do you mean to say that offline companies are left behind by the online technology that they don’t even have a website to speak of? Maybe that is true with small companies especially the so called brick and mortar or the traditional mom and pop stores. But I see that some of them are also in stride with technology that even if they don’t have a website they are depending on the social media for their marketing.

Exploiting the old seems to be a great idea because they will lack the energy to do it all and then have to give you all the job to carry out which means extra money for you as commission.

Also, it's very important to look for a niche that won't be too difficult to dominate online because if you go to those hot commodity niche, the competition in that area will kill you in the business if you lack the expertise to do well and deliver.

Exploiting? No, lol.

Helping them? Yes Partner with offline companies and increase their sales

If you're going to partner with someone, you don't want to just exploit them because they're older, you want to work with them in order to make both of you some additional cash each month. Yes, you need to know what you're doing when it comes to niche difficulties, but if you can pitch your services in a way that seem like an investment to the potential partners, and not a one off service, you will show them the power of SEO and online marketing or whatever it is you're trying to help them with Partner with offline companies and increase their sales

You made a really good point about targeting older people. Actually, I think I prefer using the phrase “direct your attention towards” rather than target, as target sounds a bit rough, haha.

In any case, that’s a good point because a lot of older people might not even be aware of the potential of taking your business online. I’ve actually seen such instances myself. I know several older people who own small businesses, and I helped them with minor things like setting up Facebook pages in order to advertise their business.

They’re not a bad demographic to work with since you’d not only be making money but also helping introduce them to the digital world.

Old people are easier to approach with this kind of things because they are the ones who usually knows what needs to be done but don't have the knowledge or time to do it themselves. They are less tech-savvy than the younger generation. Referrals coming from them are mostly reliable because the older they are the experience they become they won't just refer because of friendship or relationship. I believe that the best publicity for your products or business comes from the client themselves.

Elders are indeed easier to approach than the younger ones. They are also less tech-savvy because they lived in a generation when computers were not that famous and necessary.

This is quite a good and noble idea. I will think about this idea and try it out.

Well thought of. Talking to old business owners to boost their sales and earn commission is quite good. How is the commission paid! I'd there loopholes where one can con you of your hard earned money? How do you manage that?

I think that finding a somewhat unique or not so publicized niche is a good idea because these niches are easier to dominate than normal niches. The question is are there any left? Since most artisanal businesses have their own stores doing direct online marketing nowadays. I think the best thing to do is to pinpoint a manufacturing company and strike a deal with them regarding affiliate marketing.

I think learning to sell online, is an interesting and mandatory skill to aquire and one of the skills that will take you far in future. This is a good idea as an extra income stream. The sky is the limit. If you manage to attract as many companies as you recommend, this could really build your bank. You may have to hire staff to help you manage all your accounts. If you have the skills, go for it.

I agree. There are fewer markets more lucrative than the online one. A lot of opportunities are abound when you market your staff online.
This is why I have put my focus online and hoping to increase my potential there.

Working with older people is definitely one way to increase your success with this method and you can really help these struggling companies who aren't very tech-savvy to increase their sales. Still, even though most old-timers aren't well-versed in technology, they still look for people who are trustworthy enough and respected in their field so you need to have some experience before offering your services to them.

I have realized that online affiliate companies and the way things process can be a good option. And that can open up the door for the auto pilot income. The only issue being the consistent sales. And there are always going to be the things that can make the difference. You can see that some of the time it can be a good option for things to be properly taken care of as well. I have learned from the mistakes over a period of time but affiliate income is something I too see in the future.

One of my mentor's advice that will always stick to me was that I should always use the available resources to learn. Get friendly with people with more experience and "steal" their experience and apply them to your own work. In this case, the experience people are the companies run by old people.

That's the truth as working with them is one of the ways that you can be able to link up better. I have been in scenarios where people are not knowledgeable when it comes to online business, but they have a whole lot of experience of offline business. So, going closer to them will be a way to improve our mindset as well.

'Older people are more trusting when it comes to something they don't understand, and if you're an honest person they will let you help them online,' everything starts with conversation. It is not easy to gain trust especially with a stranger but having good faith in talking will give a benefit. Though older people are not tech-savvy as we say, they are more knowledgeable in managing a physical store. They are more meticulous and into detailed transaction.

Assisting an offline company to grow in one way or the other is one of the basic ways that we can get more funds from them as we would be teaching them what they don't know about how businesses are promoted online. Also, doing it for a company ran by older people will be a way of bringing more funds to the company at large.

I agree that older people are more trusting especially when it comes to technical side of the business. They can get their hands on this job because they are not tech savvy. And unfortunately, because of this, they are the ones usually conned by the guile people.
It's good to help them with sincere intention of mutual relationship- give and take, for them to be able to keep up with the times. It doesn't mean earning a hefty amount from them but as you've mentioned just some extra revenue while you're trying to boost their sales. This is a win-win situation.

Partnering with an offline company is a good advice. However, I don’t think it will be that easy because over here most people, especially the older ones, are wary of scams. When it is too good to be true like partnering with them that can help them with no expenses then that is too good to be true. Perhaps you will need a recommendation before you can make the first base to those offline business owners.

Im glad to read this well written article. I got some ideas that can help me in the future. What I really appreciated here is to think about the box and finding the niche that you could easily dominate.
In business, innovation is an integral part for growth. And thinking outside the box is one of the perfect way to excel. Instead of going with flow of partnering with online market, why not get the ones who are so called offline companies.
I dont really see it as taking advantage of the people who are not updated by the constant progress in IT but I see to it like a symbiotic relationship where both sides benefit from each other.

You are certainly right especially in we must take other perspective to make our own idetity. We must not follow the footsteps that they have made, instead we must use it as a guide only. We will have a hard time in thinking other consept but there is no need for us to rush things up. Be slow in deciding so that you won't end up being bankrupt because surely if you innovate you will have a major step in attaining your desired spot in the market. Also try to inquire into the elderly because they are experience and wise enough because of the trials and crisis that they have been encountered you shall do this because it is just like preparing yourself for all the circumstances that might happen.
