How to build a steady stream of leads from Facebook groups

Many people take to Facebook to generate leads for their businesses, but they don't think outside the box too often.  Most people think they will set up an ad and let it run to bring in clients, but that's just one way you can use Facebook to generate a steady stream of leads for your business.

Think of how Facebook groups are used, who joins them, and what people are posting in them to get noticed or get a question answered.  I'm a member in dozens of Facebook groups related to SEO, Marketing, and Sales, which is why I thought of this little trick a few years back and have been using it ever since.  It's not too complicated, it does take some time to gain momentum, but if you do it right, it will bring in a lot of high-quality leads.

Below is a sort of step by step process of how you can generate a steady stream of facebook leads.

Create a business "Accelerator" or "Growth" PAGE
See how I said to make a "PAGE" and not a "Group"?  Well, there's a reason for this in the long run, but we'll talk about the page for now.

You will need a Facebook page for your website and business in order for this to work.  Don't worry, they're free, so get started setting that up and optimize it as much as possible.  Add your phone numbers, emails, hours of operation, and maybe 15 to 20 posts so people can see the page is active.

This page will be the main capture point for your leads because inquisitive minds will contact you directly through messenger instead of going to your website 4/5 times.

Create a business "Accelerator" or "Growth" GROUP for a specific area
Now you will need to make an accelerator or growth group for the town you're in, a large city near you, or even a major city in the area.  This is the same as creating a page like the one you already have, but this group will allow people to join and talk with each other whereas your page is just for you to post on.

Use a great looking top image, something you had made here from one of the great graphics freelancers, or make something yourself.  People will see this image as soon as they land on your groups' page, so make sure it's top-notch and informative.

The title of one of my groups is "(Town/City) Business Growth Hub" and I used this image...

As you can see, it's not just "Business Accelerator" or "Business Growth" but it's something more specific and people from the towns I'm targeting will gravitate towards it more and possibly join the group without posting much, but they'll still see us lol.

Link your page to the group
Now, for the main part of these leads to constantly come in from month to month is to link your business page to the group.  By now you've probably asked "Why do I need a page AND a group for the same thing?!?!" and the answer to that is because you can't advertise a Group but you CAN advertise a page How to build a steady stream of leads from Facebook groups

Now, start linking the page to the group by clicking on "Edit Group Settings" in the dropdown menu.

Now scroll down to where it says "Link Your Page" and select your new page related to this group.

*** IMPORTANT ***
If your page has an age restriction, you won't be able to link it to any groups.  Make sure your page can be seen by everyone in order to link it to a group!  It took a lot of "Googleing" before I figured this out lol

Go to your page settings, scroll down to "Age Restrictions," and make sure it's visible to everyone.

Set up Targeted ads aimed at businesses

Now, remember when I said you couldn't advertise a group but you could advertise a page?

What you're going to do now is share your group to the page you've made and then Boost that post to target everyone you possibly can that owns a business within your city/town!

This way you can get people to click directly to your group, join it, or they can browse around your page before they decide to join your group and chat with all the other members.

Rinse and Repeat!
You can literally do this for every town in your area!  You make one page that is a general "Business Growth HUB" and links it to every specific growth hub for the cities you're looking to target.  You then boost the posts on your main page for each group and target every business owner within your selected towns.  You can literally have ten small hubs all connected to your main page that will continuously bring in leads because people in the groups will see "Group By Business Growth Hub" or whatever you decide to name it.  Get them to your page, get them to click through to your website, and pitch them on your services.  You can also pitch your services on the main hub page in order to get them to see it more often How to build a steady stream of leads from Facebook groups

In conclusion, this does take a lot of time, and the more money you put into your Boosted posts, the quicker you'll grow.  You won't get rich with this, but you can find some whales that will likely sign up for your digital services as long as you do everything right.  Keep the boosted posts going and watch them grow like crazy.  Using this method I grew a business group in my town to 500 business owners in less than a month.  Yes, 500 doesn't sound very big but they are all super-targeted, engaging, and I've singed plenty of them up for my services.  Now imagine if I had 10 or 50 of these groups all being promoted and members signing up lol.

If you need to build a steady stream of leads from Facebook Group then you will have to become an active member of the group, post regular content that is useful and attractive to read, connect with different business owners asking them feedback, suggestions about your website, interact with audiences, communicate with your readers, try to make and update your Facebook not everyday but in a month. This way you will also be able to increase your Facebook followers and gain more potential.

So true How to build a steady stream of leads from Facebook groups

Nothing profitable will be easy, and that means you have to put some additional time into this method, but it's definitely worth it in the end.

I like to schedule as many posts as I can, sometimes for months in advance, so I don't have to worry too much about fresh content going onto my pages. I will then share to the groups once or twice a week and encourage others to share content from their blogs or websites as well. This way it will slowly become user-generated content and more conversations will start to happen. This allows me to focus on more groups/pages and I can continue the process in different areas and pull even more people into my business on auto pilot How to build a steady stream of leads from Facebook groups
