Joe Thomas was born on February 11, 1981 in New Orleans Louisiana. At the age of 9 his mother Deborah Hines decided to move to Fullerton California. His artistic influence began early in his childhood. His cousin Leroy Jones has been a legendary trumpet player carrying New Orleans Jazz on his back for over 30 years. Joe's grandmother Curtie Bell Bullock was also a musician singing professionally during the 1950's. Not fond of singing or playing an instrument, Joe battled with a sense of artistic purpose for a number of years. This battle came to an end one fateful morning during the 15th year of his life. He felt it necessary to jot down a concept from a dream he'd had the previous night. His concepts have transformed into poems and plays, thathave been described as nothing less than regal. In this book, life is represented by blue skies, and each poem a cloud. 47 poetic lullabies to soothe the soul.
