Need to introduce CUSTOM order settings.

There have been several cases where the gig services that a seller offers may not really suit the buyer requirements at that point in time. for example if a buyer needs 800 Facebook likes only and the seller is selling 1000 likes for $5, how can that be negotiated?. it can only be done if there is a button set up where a seller can create a custom order with a buyer without having to create a new gig that suits what the buyer is asking for.
I am speaking out of experience because it has happened to me several times.
So instead of creating a new gig, there need to be installed a CUSTOM ORDER settings set up to take care of this issue. It is on other marketplaces and can also be done on seoclerks too.
Please admins, moderators and fellow sellers, what do you think about this?,...is it a good idea?

I have had several clients asking for fewer or more words in articles. They contact me by sending a message and i create a service accordingly so as to suit their needs. It does not take much time and we did it several times. By now i have several services and i rarely get any more of these requests because i sort of have a diverse variety which suits practically all needs. Your suggestion could be valid of course, but in the way i described we can still manage to offer customised services and it is not that problematic to do it.

That means you should be prepared to create as many customized similar services as possible which is very very unhealthy for seoclerks and even get free bumps for them which appear somehow tricky. besides you are expected to delete the customized services since they are very similar to the original service and seoclerks frowns at such.

• No they are not similar to the other services. If I have a service for a 700word article I only have one. And you may wish to note that my services are all regularly used by clients who order through them, they are not there for nothing.
  
• Tricky / Unhealthy - believe me this is about serving clients not coming up with any tricks.
  
• Besides I do not know what you mean getting free bumps from them? You do n ot get any free bumps for services? Bumps are achieved from other ways not by creating new services?

This is where a WTB is helpful. If you only want 800 likes or followers, and want to only pay for those that you receive, you can easily set up a WTB.

Setting up an WTB section will expose your client to other competitive sellers who will receive the alert, view it and even offer a much cheaper price than what you are offering to the buyer. so it is not advisable to tell your buyer to create a WTB section. competition is very hot these days.

I've had someone make a service especially for me when I requested it. I have also seen services before on other sellers profiles marked for specific people. Is this not the same amount of work as it would take to set up a custom order? I honestly don't know as I am a buyer not a seller.

It is not exactly the same way. have you seen how fiverr do set up customized services for their buyers and sellers?. it is not the same way as if they are creating a new gig.

Oh ok, sorry! Was just checking. I do think anything that makes life easier for sellers and buyers should be looked at. I can certainly see how suggesting your customer sets up a WTB could get that order slipping through your hands to other sellers.

I was thinking of setting up some WTB's before but I didn't want to be swamped with loads of offers. I want to find a quality seller to provide for me rather. And yes if I find the right buyer that doesn't offer exactly what I am looking for I will make a request via PM.

Hi chetaseo thanks for showing your concern. Yes several times I hear about such mater like yours. You have service for 500 likes for $5 but buyer want only 100 likes for $1. Here you cannot make custom service for your buyer. It has solution on SEOclerks. You should tell to your buyer to create a want to buy (WTB) service and after TWB you can bid just as a service and buyer will buy from you. So, you do not need to create extra same type of service. But, this may indirect solution. And it should be good and I agree with you. If buyer can order for custom service directly from your service.

I prefer they order from me directly rather than setting up a WTB where every other sellers will see it and apply with even lower prices to knock you off the ladder. That is why i request the seoclerks admin staff to set up a customized order settings just like fiverr.

In that case i have created one service which is for custom orders only. Once i negotiate sale with my buyer i edit that custom order service and send buyer a link to buy. As soon it's sold, i just suspend that service and after use the same one when i need. Since it's not happening very often, for it's good way to go with custom orders. In other hand there is now multiple "extras" to be added to service, so you can create one cheap service with small amount of followers to sell, then in extras add much more options with extra price, it's not too complicated

i totally agree with you on your method,.surely i will go with what you have said. i do have buyers requesting for custom services similar to my original service gig, that is why i posted this issue in the first place. Also good that the multiple extras has been introduced., it may help solve this problem.

It seems the answer is just to create a custom service. Creating a custom service for a specific client is allowed. You may be better off just creating the custom service, as using custom order settings can be quite time intensive (programming) and it may lead to issues with orders. How exactly would the custom order function?
