Google Working to Improve Gmail

Google wants to make it easier to have their users get rid of any unwanted marketing emails so they have implemented an unsubscribe button to gmail. Partly they are doing this to compete with Apple IOS mail. Using the IOS App, users will be able to access their email with no pauses for the inbox to refresh.

In order to use this, google users will need to simply turn on the background app refresh options that can be found in the general settings. They will then need to turn on the notifications for the app itself.

It is believed that users will check their email more using the gmail app as opposed to within the IOS mail.

Will you be using this to get rid of any unwanted marketing emails that flood your mail box?

I get a lot of spammy messages and marketing emails. But I can not see how this will keep them from me.

It will be nice to have an easy way to unsubscribe from emails even through an app and I'm sure this will benefit many mobile device users.

With all it's flaws, Gmail is still one of the safer email systems to use as they have built in safe guards against intrusion, even telling you when someone on another IP has accessed your account.

It would be rather nice to be removed from so called Spam emails. I do hope that this is happening.

I have been using this for quite some time. I usually attend seminars and the organizers send emails to me quite regularly. I have been receiving too many irrelevant emails from them and I have unsubscribed so as not to receive any emails from them.
