    Number one on google but earns low

    Just what I thought that being number one can earn much but I think its not true because I've been in the number one for months now but I get to have low earnings still for this site.

    can't shared the url though,what do you think is the reason why a site don't earn much considering its in number one position on searches?

    Thats not possible... or your website dont have quality for visited so check your bounce rate .. if high then try to maintain bounce rate ... to increase money count

    The keyword is very important.

    Example being the 1st in google for how to lose weight fast and personal trainer singapore are different even both keyword are the top because the word "how to lose weight" global have more then 200000 exact search a month compare to the word "personal trainer singapore" only 2000 exact search a month.

    Well it doesn't really matter if you are number one for a specific keyword if that keyword doesn't get much searches, therefore you will not get traffic.
    Low traffic = low earnings

    If are on no 1 for any particular keyword that doesn't mean,you'll earn good money,it depends upon traffic,the more you have traffic the more you'll earn..

    I think you must do the keywords research. If you want to get the proof amount, use the HPK for increase adsense earning.

    It is puzzling to think that your site is number 1 on the list but it’s not getting much traffic. That’s also my concern when it comes to SEO because landing on the first page does not equate to high traffic. Perhaps your site’s name is a factor or the presentation in the site’s description is not attractive. When I am searching for something, I don’t necessarily click on the number 1. What I click are the sites that have an appealing description that also includes a nice name.

    It never about the No 1,in Google it about the number of searches for such keyword you wouldn't expect a keyword that has few searches a month, do well in a month even with high ranking.So it might be the keyword is not the sort after keyword or your bounce rate is high.
