Seoclerks has been an open marketplace for SEO and digital marketing services since 2011. Anyone can apply to sell, so instead of a hand-picked list of agencies we rely on three things: a staff check before a service goes live, written rules about what can be sold, and ratings that only buyers can leave. This page sets out what we check today, where the limits are, and what is left to you.
Right now there are 115,631 live services from 54,354 sellers.
Before a service goes live
- Sellers must confirm their email address and add a payment method before they can list anything.
- Every new service is checked by our staff before it appears on the site. We reject spam, scams, illegal offers, services our rules do not allow, copied images, duplicates and listings not written in English.
- Titles and descriptions are also checked automatically against lists of banned words and phrases. Descriptions may not contain email addresses or copy another listing.
- New sellers (Level 1) can have at most 10 services, each priced at $125 or less, and their first service has to be approved before they can add another.
Seller levels are earned, not bought
Levels are recalculated automatically from each seller's record.
- Level 1: every new seller, and any seller who has not logged in for 14 days.
- Level 2: at least 10 orders and $500 in sales, 90% or more positive ratings, no rule breaks, and a first order at least 30 days old.
- Level 3: at least 25 orders and $2,000 in sales, 95% or more positive ratings, a first order at least 60 days old, replies to buyers within 24 hours, and a verified ID and address.
- Level X is given by our staff, by hand, to a small number of sellers.

Who holds your money
- When you pay from your Seoclerks account balance, Seoclerks holds the money. The seller is paid only after the order is completed, and then only after a clearing period of 1 to 9 days that depends on their level. Most orders on Seoclerks are paid this way.
- When you pay at checkout with PayPal, Stripe, Skrill or crypto, the payment usually goes straight to the seller's own account. Seoclerks does not hold that money, so a refund on one of those orders has to come from the seller.
- Sellers cannot withdraw earnings from Seoclerks until their email address, phone number, address and ID have been verified.
If an order goes wrong
- When a seller delivers, you have 5 days to review the work. You can reject it with a reason, which sends the order back to the seller. If you do nothing, the order completes automatically.
- Either side can ask for a mutual cancellation. If the other side accepts, the order is cancelled: a balance payment goes back to your balance, and for a direct payment the seller refunds you.
- A seller who cancels an order more than 24 hours after it started gets a negative rating on their profile automatically.
- Some services carry the seller's own money-back guarantee. If you use it, the guaranteed amount goes to your Seoclerks balance.
- If you cannot settle it with the seller, contact support. Our staff can step in, and can cancel orders for fraud or for services our rules do not allow.
Ratings come only from buyers
- Only the buyer of an order can rate it, from that order's page, up to 31 days after it is completed.
- A rating is positive or negative with a written comment. Sellers can reply, but they cannot edit what the buyer wrote.
- If an order is cancelled and refunded, its rating is removed along with it.
What is not allowed
Our terms of service and listing guidelines rule out, among other things:
- Services that search engines such as Google or Bing consider spam or black hat.
- Made-up reviews on other sites, such as Trustpilot, Yelp or TripAdvisor.
- Methods that break another website's or network's terms of service.
- Selling email, social media, ad network or marketplace accounts.
- Illegal products and services, scams, and other people's copyrighted work.

Cheap bulk links: read this first
Some listings offer thousands of links for a few dollars, usually built with software such as GSA or blog-comment blasts. Google's spam policies treat links made mainly to manipulate rankings as spam, and links like these rarely help a site you care about. Before you buy any link service, check:
- Where the links will be. Ask for example URLs or a sample report before you order.
- How they are made: manual outreach and real articles, or software.
- The seller's level, and ratings from buyers of that same service, not just the seller overall.
- Whether the price makes sense. A real article on a real site with real readers rarely costs a few dollars.
