Making money online isn't easy, but you can build your wealth over time

We're all chasing that big pay day, every day, when it comes to working online.  We work our fingers to the bone typing up articles for our websites, building backlinks to increase our rankings and building relationships with others in order to catapult ourselves into the stratosphere of success.  But what people don't know, is that success online takes a lot of time unless you're one of the very lucky few who get it right the first time.

When I started off I had $50 and a free website.  I dumped all $50 into Adwords and barely got my money back.  I then kept bootstrapping all of my profits, literally every penny, and after about a year I was making enough money from new clients and returning ones, that I could move out on my own and quit my job at the same time.  I didn't see some profits and think "I can quit now because I'm going to be rich in no time!" because I knew that was probably one of the dumbest ideas I could have come up with.  I actually see some younger kids saying they're going to quit their jobs when they get a few sales coming in, but they don't know that their main income stream could dry up tomorrow and then they have to beg for their jobs back.

Making money online definitely isn't as easy as all these facebook ads or Guru's try to make it sound.  If they told you the truth behind how much work goes into it, you wouldn't sign up for those services, would you?  Probably not lol.  The people selling a system to "Help" you make money online are only making money off of you.  That is usually their main income stream because they are preying on the weaker minded newbies who have dollar signs in their eyes and don't know how to sift through sales copy that is written in a way to get you to sign up.  The content is written in a way to lift your spirits and hopes so much that you'll part with your hard earned money for a chance to make even more, it's sad actually


What you'll need to do:

Focus on one income stream at a time, not multiple ones.  This way you will know if something is going to work out or if it's going to fail and you need to move on.  Think of it as the "low hanging fruit" method when it comes to targeting keywords.  Find a method that will bring in a few bucks each day and scale it up if possible.  Get 10 of those going and you will have a nice income stream in not time.  You may only be making $10 or $15 a day from one website, but if you can replicate that for multiple niches, you will have a goldmine in no time    Use your profits to build up new websites and push them into profits.  When you have profits, it's easier to make money because you don't have to worry as much like before when you would use your paychecks to take a chance on a website.

After you have some low hanging fruit websites pulling in profits, start thinking of a bigger idea that would take longer and more money to turn into a profit machine.  Sure it will take a lot more time, money and effort in order to pull in a lot of money, but you won't get rich just thinking about what you want to do lol.  Start up a niche based news website and add massive amounts of content to it, then build high quality backlinks aimed at your articles.  You could also set up a service type website and sell something that will benefit your buyers.  Another thing is to set up some sort of membership system that allows people to come in and benefit from what is within your members dashboard.  The options are limitless, just be sure that there is interest in the website idea before you jump in and spend a bunch of money on it's development.  You might love the idea, but the majority of people around the world may see it as useless.  Post on facebook and get some honest feedback from your friends and family, be sure to ask them to be honest lol.


After about a year of hard work, you will usually be profitable.  You might even have VA's (virtual assistants) doing the majority of the backend work so that you can focus on more important things like making money.  I know it's possible because I've done it many times.  I will set up website and make them popular among their niches, then I will take the profits from that website and put it into a second in a different niche.  And the beauty of this is that I already have all the code from the first website which means I save money on the design



In Conclusion:
Making money online takes time.  No one will be successful on day 1 unless you're getting a loan or have a sugar daddy/momma that is paying for all your advertising and marketing.  If you are doing this yourself, do your research and know what you're doing before you do it.  You can be successful, but you will definitely hit some walls and you will need to sit down and think about terminating the idea or pushing through to see how successful it can really get.  Just use your head before you make any decisions with your heart
