Why your website or business should have a loyalty program

No matter what type of company you have, online or brick and mortar, you can have a loyalty program in place to boost your returning customers who want to hit that goal of 5 or 10 orders to get something for free or at a discounted rate. People are getting used to loyalty programs at food-related businesses, but that shouldn't stop you from offering one at your online boutique or eCommerce style store.

Offering a loyalty program for customers will almost always increase your sales and returning customers. You may not make an extra million dollars because of it, but you'll be creating more returning customers, and that's more money in your pocket at the end of the month Why your website or business should have a loyalty program

Below are a few reasons why you should be running some sort of loyalty program on your website, and they are:

You're able to collect user data easier
The world of online marketing revolves around user data because it's how we target potential customers online. Without data we would not know who is viewing our ads, purchasing our services, where they're from, etc. We would be blind unless they told us personally all the stuff we wanted to know which is actually easy to collect by using a loyalty program.

With your program, you can ask them their names, emails, where they're from, and anything else related to your website that you think is pertinent to your program.

Make your customers feel valued
When you offer a loyalty program, you're in control of the benefits, which means you can give away a fee flyer or you can give away a free car. Depending on what you can afford will show how valued you see your customers, no matter how much money is in your bank account, your customers want to feel valued.

If your customers are spending $100 every time, and you're giving away a $10 product after they order 10 times, they won't feel very valued, will they? Now, if you're selling something for $100 and you give every 3rd order away for free (if you can afford to), they will come back every time because they're only a couple orders away from a free thing they already want/need Why your website or business should have a loyalty program

Boost your branding with a simple card
If you're handing out loyalty cards, you're essentially branding yourself even more than before, and this is because your logos and website will be all over the card that they need to show everytime they come to your business or website.

These little loyalty cards are the same as business cards, but these ones won't get thrown away because that's like starting over due to the fact they don't have any punches or signatures, so they'll keep them in their wallets or purses at all times for the next use.

Helps build your reputation and authority
The longer you're using a loyalty program, the more reputation you'll be building because more and more people will know who you are and what you offer. You'll be building your authority in the persons mind, which is something better than gold because these people tend to turn into those users who share your website or products to the masses along with a positive review Why your website or business should have a loyalty program

In conclusion
Online and offline loyalty programs are essential if you want to boost your business by 15% or even 25% if your rewards are great. Give away something for free, or give a nice discount on something expensive, and you will see your repeat customer count increasing month after month Why your website or business should have a loyalty program

Loyalty programs are great ways to make your customer feel special for being loyal to your brand, and it has worked really well with a lot of the bigger companies we see today, so it doesn't hurt to adopt a similar system for your website to encourage more people to be a part of your business model.

True, there are a ton of companies out there that are already doing this, and doing it well, which is why everyone should think of how they can incorporate a loyalty system into their business.

It doesn't matter if you're offline, online, or both because there are ways to set up punch cards or some sort of tracking to see how often someone is coming into your establishment or visiting your website.

One thing you need to do is have something that the buyers want to come back for, and this is why establishments selling food do so well with these programs, but you can sell an online service and keep people coming back if your work is good enough in their opinion for a second purchase Why your website or business should have a loyalty program

Yeah, for service-oriented businesses, you really need to deliver first on the customer's first order before thinking of setting up a loyalty program. More and more online sites have found innovative ways of bringing loyalty services to their business, so aspiring business owners can also take a page or two from these pioneers online.

Yes, loyalty programs will make your clients feel that they are indeed important. Loyalty programs feel like a privilege. Personally, I see it as a privileged. You have the edge over new users and that is unmeasurable. Loyalty programs also make clients feel secured.

Yeah, it also makes it difficult to the person to switch to a different brand offering similar products because the loyalty rewards sometimes can overshadow whatever little advantage the other brand has over yours.

A loyalty program is a great way to make your customers feel special and it does give your "loyalists" some benefits at your expense but it's well worth it because you can be assured of repeat buys and loyal customers.

I think this is an awesome idea. However, though, from looking at grocery store rewards programs, I have my doubts. I mean, they all have the rewards program, so how does one store have a better one? Well, I'm sure there are some differences.

The way that they present it is definitely what matters and most especially when you have that store that a kind of good rapport with the customers, you'll get to realize that they are not the same as they will do everything within their powers to ensure that the customers get a good reward after the time that they have spent making everything work for them.

I also believe that there are a lot of advantages of having loyalty program. It's like a commitment between the customer and the seller. Availing those programs mean that you will always be linked with the company. i just hope that companies will provide better programs to encourage more customers to avail.

Personally, I enjoy the loyalty program of some stores. We have here a book store with a loyalty card. But it’s not giving discounts and instead we earn points when we buy. Those points when accumulated through the months can amount to something. That’s also the same with a supermarket with the so called rewards card. There were times that my groceries were paid by points earned in my rewards card. Now, if your website has that scheme then I guess you will earn the loyalty of your clients.

But having a loyalty program such as points card gives your customer a joy and a reason to return. It will not just encourage your customers to be loyal but you are also giving them the importance and appreciation.

Loyalty programs guarantee returning customers. When I tell you this, is because I'm one of those clients, that feel attended and cared, when they're added to a loyalty program. That's one of the actions, that make me recommend that platform to friends, or follower/customers. Through social media, I let my followers know, how valued I feel, and that will bring my customers to your website. You will keep your regular clients, and will earn some new ones.

I think loyalty programmes is one of the smartest ways for any business to retain its loyal customers. A customer who has once purchased any goods or services from you is likely to consider buying from you again. If you offer this satisfied customer some incentive like cash back or discounts then it is very likely that this customer would steadily become a regular and a loyal customer of your business. Such loyal customers can also bring in more potential customers to your business when they spread there positive experience about your business with others.
