Will Facebook's Branded Content Policy kill Affiliate Marketing on Facebook?
Just wondering if Facebook's Branded Content Policy will apply to affiliate marketers who are pushing other people's products via their Facebook page or if it's more about paid reviews, sponsorships, paid endorsements - such as where one site/page owner pays another to endorse them via the Facebook page.
According to Facebook, branded content is defined in the following way:
Branded content on Pages is defined as content originating from a Page owner that features third party products, brands, or sponsors that are different from the Page owner.
And, if this won't apply to affiliate marketers, maybe you can explain a little more to me about whom this policy would affect or what restrictions it could cause.
