    Once I was on a forum where we did a Easter event, where you search old threads looking for a photos of easter eggs. And, when you find all of them, you would PM the admin with the links to win a prize. I won a $10 Amazon gift certificate. What activities do you have for forum members?

    We do an event for every holiday but it usually just revolves around changing avatars or doing roleplay on the forum as characters from a favorite movie.

    One sure way of getting reactions is holding a contest with a prize. In one forum about pets, one member bought a new fur baby and was needing of a name. She is just a member though but she held a contest to name that male puppy. The prize is a set of leash and collar. And although the winner can only be from the US for delivery purposes, it was a big hit even after the winner had already claimed the prize.
