I would tell others that want to rank high that they need to have good quality posts and make sure that they have quality info on their site.

Posting lots of good quality threads and responses, ensuring your site is well maintained and actively updated as well as getting backlinks from other sites. Those are a few things you can do to help your forum's page rank.

Mine always tends to jump up and down and sometimes says N/A so I never tend to check it. I once had a site with a PR of 8 which went well until my host went down and I lost the site sadly. Some effective ways though is to get your site out there, don't just sit around and expect it to just pop up on google, you have to promote the site first, then continue at it, never give up.
