Do you use forum post exchanges?

I've used Postloop a few times with very limited success. The thing that bothers me most about Postloop is how unqualified the posters are. Most of the posts I get are sub-literate, barely worth leaving up. They don't really seem to care they are wasting my points.

I've even tried post swaps, which usually work out better.

What's your experience with post exchanges or post swaps (with other forum owners)?

I've done some forum post exchanges which turned out very well and resulted in long time members. Other post exchanges have not turned out so well. Maybe it's a personality thing, where some people fit onto a forum than others.

Post loop is not the best example of forum post exchange. You can find people to swap posts with on various promotion forums. These forum owners usually have more time than money and don't mind putting in a little work on your forum to get high quality posts in return.

I've done some post swaps with very good success, it's usually a very nice experience and I gain actual forum members who stay after the post swap is over.

I have posted for others on Postloop and find that it is an ok program but I feel that you can make posts on forums to swap with others.
