    Should I start a TV forum?

    I'm a long time member of another big TV forum and really enjoy the ambience goin on there.

    I have a particular favorite show that I love to watch and talk about all the time.

    Everytime I'm on that other forum talking about my shows, I keep thinking to myself how all that content would be so great on my own forum.

    I can't compete with that big forum, but I still want my own forum that is similar. I am confused as to whether or not I should do this. My heart says yes. My brain says it's a bad idea.

    If you like talking about that particular TV show, then you are likely the most qualified to do it. As you mentioned, all those posts you are putting on someone else's forum are going to waste. That other person is earning the money from the posts and not you. So why not have your own forum for similar topic or theme?

    Absolutely! There's no better reason to start a forum than that you love the topic. Should I start a TV forum?

    If you love that show and could talk about it all day, then that's the perfect forum niche for you.

    There is no risk in starting such a forum as you could monetize in various ways with affiliate programs or sell ad space to other TV blog owners. This would be a good way to monetize a TV forum.

    I think that it would be a good idea. I like the idea and there are many that are interested in TV!

    If this is something that you want to do then go forward with it. Write quality articles to attract others to your site. You will also have to think about promotion. I have been on many sites where they discuss about TV shows and I don't stick to only one site. I like to visit multiple site just to know about others opinions.
