I need some advice

Let's say that I have found a very unique forum niche, that very few others have explored. If this niche has a small but devoted fan base, is it worth pursuing?

If you're really passionate about that topic and want to talk with others about it daily then you should go for it. If you are just trying to make money with that niche, I would avoid as it's hard to make a full time income off of one forum, unless you can sell a lot of ad space or get massive community donations.

Those type of niches are the best of all for a forum. Even a very small but devoted community that shows up daily is better than a huge forum that has no cohesion or community vibe going on.

You don't need hundreds of forum members to make it work, so small niches work good. Even twenty loyal fans for your forum will bemore than enough to sustain you with new conversations for years to come.
