How often do you review your old blog posts?

Recently, I reviewed the blog posts I have made from the past few years and found many lost gems I had forgotten about. To get more mileage from these blog posts, I have now created a new article on my blog which links to many of these long ago published posts. And, my new readers seem to enjoy this trip down memory lane.

I LOVE reading my old blog posts. It brings back memories. I tend to link one into the other if it fits. When you notice how well certain ones flow with one another, you want to tie them together How often do you review your old blog posts?

I wish I could review my old posts very frequently, however, I can not because of the time constraints. I have published hundreds of articles and it is impossible to update each of these articles. Having said that I also understand the SEO value of updating old contents. Generally speaking, I update my successful articles and do not focus much on the articles that are not receiving traffic.

When I was submitting articles for guest blogging, I review my blog so many times before arriving on the final version. So when I submit it, it is final and should not be changed. No, I don’t review my old blog posts unless I am to write a new blog that I think may have a similarity with an old blog. That’s the time I would review the old blog just to determine the similarity, if any.

Rarely, only when someone comments on them. If I see a comment, I would try answering it right away or I'll take note of it and answer it when I'm free or when I'm finished with my work.
