    If you have a blog, would you tell everyone?

    I have business related blogs that I share on Facebook and other sites. But, for my personal blog, I don't make a big deal to tell anyone as it's mostly it's boring personal and job related things so I don't really know if anyone other than a few coworkers or friends would read it anyway.

    Although I have a personal blog, it's only set to where I can see the posts. I don't really feel like sharing that blog with anyone as it's mostly about family events and photographs and my own personal writing, such as drafts of articles and Hubpages that I'm working on as well as notes about things I want to do. For less personal blogging, I use Google+ or Facebook to reach my extended contacts of friends.

    It depends on how personal the said blog is. I mean there is no point no try to share your personal experiences with everyone around you on the outer space if it is worth the time.

    I would not if it a personal jottings for my personal consumption especially if not monetising it.but if I want to make money out of it.of course I will spread the news of my blog.

    I know that some people create a personal blog for personalpurposes only. And I don’t mind them because that is their prerogative. But my question is what for, yeah, why make a blog if you wouldn’t want people to read it? Maybe it would be better if you create a diary in a word document, that would be safer and surely no one can hack it. But for a personal blog, it is a promotion for yourself, no matter how boring, just let others read it particularly those people in your circle.

    You know, I just never understood the personal blog to just write about on;e personal life. Sure, I could see a non-public blog for family, as a way to stay connected and share family events with those living outside the area. But, just to post about the day's happenings, I don't get it.

    I have a blog and I have told everyone that I have a blog. I share my blog entries on my facebook timeline and twitter. The first visitors and commentators on my blog are always the people from social media.

    That goes to show that social media is a fertile place to promote your interest whether it is a business or personal thing. What’s good in social media is that you can develop good relationship with your connections and that can lead to an advantage when you need their assistance particularly when you have something to promote. With your blog, you can have regular readers from your close friends in social media.

    If you have a blog, you need audience. Blogging is not an activity that would be hidden in a closet. Blogging means getting people to read. Therefore, you should always share your blog with other people. Social media sites are the best place to showcase your blog. By promoting on social media, you not only get visitors, but also social signals that help in search engine ranking.
