Moonfruit

I want to create a quick website to showcase some of my art. Would a site like Moonfruit be a good place to use?

I have never heard of Moonfruit. I will have to look into this and see what I think of it.

I've used similar sites for SEO and backlinking but never really as a stand alone primary website. Could be very useful for the webmaster novice who wants to start a site quickly without knowing HTML.

This sounds like a good idea Beverly. I do not know that much about HTML so maybe I will look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.

There are many similar one click to publish websites including Webs. And, if you don't have previous experience building a website, then you might want to consider this option for owning a website.

Moonfruit is a fun site to work with, kind of like JimDo or Tumblr with some nice design options. Also, very easy to edit these sites. Great for backlinking campaigns if that's what you need.

It is ok, I have used it in the past, a good while ago, it done what I needed at the time so have no complaints about it, but wouldn't go back to using them now, simply because I don't use the drag and drop web builders anymore. Moonfruit

These sites are very easy to use, but I don't like how they are usually cobranded with links to the main site. To me, that subtracts from the site credibility. But, maybe the site users don't really notice the link at the bottom of the page.

When you are first starting out, the last thing you need to be worried with is learning HTML, so use a ready site builder like MoonFruit or Wix and you will easily have a site you can be proud of.
