    Why is being online on seoclerks important?

    I have seen some reviews suggesting that one should be as much online as possible? Why is this so? Can anyone explain it to me?

    Let's say you have a listing for SEO services and another member also has a listing for the same kind of SEO services, and they both come up in the search results, but theirs shows that they logged in today and yours shows you logged in a week ago. Which one do you think a buyer will pick?

    I am a buyer here and I must say that seeing someone is online right at the time I am searching for something makes a very big influence on my decision. If someone hasn't been online here for a few days I don't buy from them.
    Just how my brain works.

    Firstly, if you are online a lot, then you can respond to buyers quickly and that reduces your response time. If you have good reviews and low response time, it will make you look like a much better seller. As Febs has mentioned, if you are online, it increases the chance of someone buying your services when they go on your services page. The other thing is that you can just be logged in on SEO Clerks in the background while you are doing something else so there is no disadvantages of being logged in.

    First of all buyers will check if you are online at the time so as to see if they can expect a quick reply should they want to ask you something. The more online you are the better your chances of replying promptly, and this could help to reduce your response time. Another benefit is that just in case you do not get an email when someone sends you a message, or orders something, you will be able to immediately notice this from the Alerts section.
    Moreover you should make sure to log in once daily so as to get a free bump.

    Clients like to see that you are online when they are looking to buy your service. One because they have a better chance of their order starting right away. Two because being online means you can respond to your clients right away and they like to see that! And lastly, being online versus logging in only every couple days increases the probability of you getting an order over someone else. Just like the first two answers, if someone searches for a service that you offer and you're online and another freelancer's service comes up and they have not logged in for a few days, you will most likely get that order because they can see you are online and ready to work!
