Gift card/Transfer funds to users?

I've been reading some cool ideas from people and I stumbled on something that sounded cool. So, instead of letting it hang on page 3 among several posts, I thought I should share it here instead. (can't say it's exactly like someone mentioned, but I got the idea from reading that.)

Let's say you as a seller wants to do something cool & fancy. Like a "magic lottery" or something.

For example:
"Every buyer of this service during this week will get the chance of winning $50 for free, to spend on any of my services."

When the 7 days has passed you as a seller choose any of your buyers and just add $50 in his balance. (That $50 can only be spent on your own services.) or you could spend $50 on a gift card from Jordan, and send your buyer a coupon code perhaps? (This is your own money we're talking about & not some free cash from SEOClerks.)

Personally I'd be interested in a gift-card option in this case, where I'll be able to set the price myself.

Anyone else who thinks it would be necessary/cool/fun with such an option?

I think gifting every buyer is not a good idea, we can select a lucky buyer or 2 ? Because paying everyone is not a good idea. By the way your suggestion is cool.

Oh, maybe I wasn't clear enough. Of course I didn't mean you should pay Every buyer. In the example above I just meant that every buyer would have a chance of winning $50, but there won't be more than one winner each time.

You could of course do whatever you feel like, the example was just to show why I think a gift card or allowing fund transfers between users would be cool

I can't understand what you mean by that Jordan, but if it's on the dev list I'm glad & satisfied.

I am the one Who initiated this topic (Gift card ). Is it possible to allow user to create own Gift card code ? Because it helps us to gain more affiliates to our site. I will give the Gift card to new members so that they can redeem and add the funds to their balance. Also I am planning for Giving away of free money to Lucky buyers here every month from my balance. Is it possible Jordan. Because there are many active and Best buyers of SEO and SMM here. We need to give them some Free money!!;)

For example : Buyer who purchase service regularly from me, I need to give them my respect by giving some free money. So only I am interested in giving Gift card!! Many buyers are still not familiar with Discount coupon But Gift card will Surely make a good impact.

Give us an option to create Gift card or We will send a ticket and ask our customer support team to create a Gift card of our choice. We will give that to a Lucky buyer of our choice. This giving away will surely increase all sellers sales here!!
