Yeah, I think something would be good to help the more active sellers and member's gigs stand out more. I think closing the services of a member due to one month absence is a bit too strict, but still do like your suggestion. Close services of users who are not active Maybe a warning to the member after a month saying that their service is a rick of being marked as "Inactive Seller" or something like that, then after another set period of time, if the member still doesn't log in, then the service is removed from the market place and put as paused in their account. Removing those services is not a good idea because that user can re login after 1 month, we can suspend those services and when user login again he can activate them Close services of users who are not active

Yeah, suspending them is a much better idea than deleting them all together, that said, I just also had a thought that would make doing this a bad idea. Search engines will have those older services index and lots of them will be receiving traffic, if a new feature like this was added today, in one month time, a lot of service will suddenly be remove of the pages not longer viewable do to them being suspended / removed, this would then most like bring a large drop in traffic?

What about robots.txt, we can avoid indexing ;)

What you mean?

Well there is a robots.txt file in the system which allow us to decide whether we want to show services in search engines or not, for inactive services I think we can change settings.

Yeah, and if the services (web-pages) are mad in-active, the search engines will drop the pages, this meaning the visitors to on them will stop, that's what I mean. Close services of users who are not active Another thought there.. Did we not get banned from Google anyways? Close services of users who are not active

No I think, why we get banned ? Currently seoclerks is suffering from google penalty that's why we moved to seoclerk, but there is no reason now for google to ban us Close services of users who are not active

I think the listing should be suspended from getting new orders, but not removed. That way the organic traffic will continue, but then they will move on to someone else's active listing Close services of users who are not active

Already it shows on the service page when the last time the person logged in. So you know if that person is active or inactive. So for instance, if they have not logged in for 60 days, you will see that too and know better than to order anything from that seller.

Their listings shouldn't be visible on the Seller's lists, as it can be confusing to some.

But, what about the situation where a reputable seller on SEOClerks with a high ranking could not be on the site for awhile due to prolonged or grave illness? The situation would not be their fault but they could easily get their listings deleted or closed. If they had spent a very long time building credibility, that could be a devastating blow.

Another scenario is when a seller has many instant downloads available. They don't really have to log in in order to make sales or collect money as this is taken care of automatically by the SEOClerks system.

For those people, they would just need to put up the items for instant download and drive traffic to the pages. They could make sales and be 'active' even if they never logged in, but once or twice a year to cash out.

Those people who make sales often in this way but just don't login a lot should not be penalized.

We can suspend the services! When the user come online he can re activate them, but it's also not a good idea to leave such services open because if any seller is not available due to grave illness then what about the order? Does it remain open for 10-15 days (Till the seller login back)?

Exactly. The buyer is the one being punished if the seller is not available to fulfill a service that is still listed in the marketplace.

They would already be penalized by losing their seller level, as one of the criteria is to login at least once every 7 days. Close services of users who are not active
