How much money have you have spent on freelancing equipment?

So far, I have purchased a new mobile phone to keep in contact with my customers when I'm not at my computer as well as a new laptop which goes with me everywhere. What expenses or investments have you made as a freelancer?

For my birthday, I was able to get a new laptop (first one I have ever owned). Thanks to SEOClerks!

Of course, I use my laptop for freelance work and writing, though my entire family enjoys it too.

So far, that's about the only investment I have made for freelancing work, except for monthly internet access.

Nothing... even I earned some money from freelanceing (Seoclerks + other websites + Adsense). Maybe I'll buy a Galaxy Note 5 in the autumn... I don't know.

I have still not spend any money in buying any new equipment for my freelancing work but I am soon planing to upgrade my existing system to Core i5 and 8 GB RAM And 1 or 2 GB Graphic Card

I had to buy a newer computer to be able to perform my services faster. My old computer was very laggy and always kept me from working to my full potential.

My biggest investment so far as a freelancer is my laptop. I have a decent enough desktop to handle graphics software if I needed to work on images and videos, but a desktop is power hungry. It also lacks portability. My laptop allows me to work anywhere and also consumes significantly lower electricity than my desktop which is a big plus when you're trying to live within your means. I use the laptop to do most of my freelance work as a content writer and only use the desktop for special projects.

I have a computer, internet device, and internet services. I invested about $1000 in equipment. I pay around $30 every month as internet cost. I have also invested around $500 to learn and develop skills. This adds to my freelancing expenses

If it can be considered equipment for freelancing, the tablet I bought on sale for $200 was the only expense I incurred last year. The tablet is actually for my husband who has difficulty in using the small smart phone for the internet. But I sometimes use the table for my freelancing especially when we are abroad or out of town. So far I have not bought anything this year.
