Some freelancers work too hard

I've noticed how some freelancers work too hard, even 12 hours a day. You would not work so many hours a day at a regular job. Is the income of a freelance day (12 hours or more) really commensurate with what a 'job' would pay? At least for the skills you posses or would be able to use to earn.

If you are working 12 hours a day and only earning $5.00 or $10.00, then you need to give it up and get a real world job as even a minimum wage job would pay more than that.

Even a low skill job would earn more money than that and there are many such jobs available.

Though not many people would want jobs like that.

I guess it is possible to make fulltime earning from Seoclerks while you are freelancing. For that you need to provide the right kind of service and should have a good strategy as well.

Even when I'm really tired, I enjoy writing as it's something that I always wanted to do. I always wanted to be a published writer and now I am. It's a very rewarding feeling.

Some people are just freelancing in their spare time and it's not a full time profession. For those people, even a little pocket money is good enough.

It is very difficult to earn more money online, mostly people just earn $100 or more, that isn't enough in compare to offline Job.
Only Some People Earn Excellent Income ($5000-$10000+)From Online By Doing Very Hard work. Rest of the people give up quitting the online job.

The problem for those who are going at it that way, are going at it ALL WRONG. I've been freelancing long enough to know that I will NEVER, EVER do those ludicrously-priced jobs for anyone. It's about putting up your own original products or services and charging a fair market price for them, or, selling items that ARE NOT in the Marketplace, and you know have definite appeal. And it's all about putting up numbers. I just joined CodeClerks (and the other 2 sites in the webring), and I'm well aware that no one is going to take a chance on the new people unless they make themselves stand out from the rest. And I'm not just relying on CodeClerks - I'm selling products and services in Classifieds, Website/Business/Any Type of Directory, as well as two or three other different sources of traffic/eyeballs to make the dough come in on a daily basis. It'll take me a second to crack CodeClerks for the sales I know are there, but it's going to take a few days of steadily plugging at it. It's a little hard, but I manage to eat EVERYDAY (lol!)...

It totally depends on what suits you . When I came to this platform I was like 5$ a week but in my country average payscale is 500$ a month so it was like a good pocket money . But after I got level 2 there was serious change in sales and I was getting like 100-120$ a week after Level 3 I was at 500-800$ a week after level X now there is no comparison and my sales got 10 times more after Level X .
So For my personal experience as I a software developer I know how much salary a software developer earn outside but as my academics is related to computer and softwares I stick with seoclerks and to be very honest I work only 1-2 hour a day and I am earning so good with seocelrks almost 2-3k$ a month .

Maybe they are just not trying to get a real job or this freelancing is the easy way out or maybe the only thing they know to do with life.

The amount of earnings as a freelancer is giving me apprehension because it's scary to think that freelancing will be my bread and butter some years from now. At present, writing is my main line of work and I enjoy providing content. But I don't think it can buy me lunch since I only earn less than $2 per day.

How much you earn as a freelancer depends on where you freelance and what is your freelance niche. If your niche is writing and you write online, you will not be able to earn much even if you work 12 hours because writing is a poorly paid job. On the other hand, if you are a graphic designer, you will be earning a regular salary by working 9-10 hours. You will earn more if you are a website designer or programmer. Therefore, how many hours you work do not mean much, what matters is what kind of work you do.
